The voice of the narrator was kind of sexy. I thought his imitation of the Irish accent was charming/funny.
I haven't read or listened to any other book like it.
The main character of course. The other are "very" secondary.
I enjoyed it, but it seems hard to think that someone, especially a cop, has reached that age without giving any kind of thought about having sex with another man. It also seems unrealistic that he dealt with it with such ease. It was enjoyable though.
I'm actually planning to buy the kindle version in Spanish! I wouldn't listen to it again though.
From the very beginning it traps you and doesn't let you go! I liked G's story and how he was so close to the Anastagios. They loved him so much! It's so incredible that someone so hot and handsome as Griff doesn't even know he is. D is also an incredible character. They do make a great team!
The one at the station, when D is trying to convince G to go along with him to Alek's office.
I'd love to have a romantic dinner with Griffin.
It's a great story, I really hope it gets the attention the of some producer and makes it into a film.
Romantic, intriguing, heart-warming
He's got an extremely sexy voice!
When you start knowing what Webber feels!
I loved the story! I'm waiting for the second part to come as audiobook.
Romantic, light-hearted and simple.
I think he nailed Cole's personality.
I wouldn't change it.
It's a fun story, nothing really complicated.
I haven't read the print version.
When officer Brandt faced officer Donnelly in his apartment.
No. The beginning is a bit slow, which is understandable since the scenario has to be established. I got a bit bored though, right after the party at Donnelly's it gets interesting. There's basically no sex before that.
I was seriously considering returning the audiobook but then story had a plot twist and got me totally hooked.
I have only listened to 4 audiobooks so far, and I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is the best one ever.
Like I said in the headline. From the beginning I didn't want to like Danny. I am not very attracted to M/M stories where one of the characters is a full-fledged diva that throws a tantrum occasionally with some witty remarks telling people off... It is a major turn off for me! The narrator even captured that annoying part of Danny, there were moments in which I wanted to get inside the story and totally bitch-slap Danny for being such an over the top drama queen, but then again, that was exactly what I learned to love about him at the end of the story! As people, we sometimes have so much emotional baggage that for some reason (and I include myself) we can't get past the facade. I want Danny to be my friend! Period! As for Lance... I loved the way he was portrayed... so big and brute yet so gentle with Danny.
I have a question/proposal for you Andy... Can I have you next to me reading stories FOREVER? Gosh! You got me so turned on sometimes!!! Just imagining you whispering in my ear I got the chills!
Danny and Lance... in that order! I know a lot of people liked Danny more (it's understandable why since the story is told from his point of view) but I really want to know more about Lance. He is a man of few words but with such a big heart! I would definitely love to read/listen to a sequel to this story but told from his POV.
I've listened to 3 stories this past week: 1) An unconventional Courtship 2) My roommate's a Jock and 3) Plan B. Although I liked the two previous ones a lot, after listening to Plan B I feel like I need some time to keep entertaining the story in my head! I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END! My next listening will be Frat House Troopers and I don't want to start yet simply because I don't want to forget about Danny and Lance...
