I'm expanding my genre in books. I haven't been heavily into books in the past, this is changing rapidly. I enjoy hot & heavy mysteries.

Nick Podehl performed Mickey very well, and SPOON!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, high school theme but very good.

    Any additional comments?

I am really wondering when the next book is coming out?!

To make the journey into The Power of Now you need to leave your analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. Access to the Now is everywhere - in the body, the silence, and the space all around you. These are the keys to enter a state of inner peace.

What disappointed you about The Power of Now?

I tip my hat to Eckhart Tolle for the subject of his book, but his voice is very difficult to listen to for long periods of time, my family feels the same. I recommend reading the book, but it is difficult to listen to.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Eckhart Tolle?

I am not familiar with many narrator's, but someone who is easier on the ears but can still demonstrate the powerfulness of this book.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Power of Now?

I haven't been able to finish listening to it.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Would you listen to The Fault in Our Stars again? Why?

I would listen to this again. This book has a great narrator and the book is witty, funny and demonstrates struggles of reality (even though this is a fiction).

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Both main characters are favorites.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

She did a great job. She performed the "mood" of the characters very well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Definitely made me laugh out loud (lol), and yes, there were tears.

    Any additional comments?

John Green is incredible, very moving and captures deep subjects of life in a way I haven't experienced before.
