Yes - the series has been fun and I am hopeful and excited about the next book.
The plot was weak and the main characters were not developed any more than in the last book. The plot twist was exciting, but just as the book seemed like it was going to take off it ended.
Somewhat - it made me mad that it ended leaving an empty feeling and wandering where my time went.
I wish the novellas were on Audible
The stories contained in the "book" were interesting, but poorly developed as with an anthology of books. My disappointment has to do with expecting another novel instead of a group of short stories. I recognize that it says "Lost Stories" however Audible has it listed as Book #11. With the MANY other books and series I have listened to (and Read) the next numbered book is another novel at least in the same world with same characters if not the continuation of the story line. I overall enjoyed the short stories, however wish that this was not labeled as book #11.
There was no real end to the story. It essentially erased everyting up to the point
Had a real ending.
He was very good - all characters were real.
Frustration and disappointment that there was no kind of wrap up - the last couple of paragraphs essentially undid the entire story.
Yes - but would recomend starting at the beginning
When Matt walked onto the battle field trading his clothes for armor then strolling back off the battle field and reclaiming his clothes.
Yes - Kate Reading is great - she makes every character come to life. She gives remarkable performance in every book I have listened to that she has narrated. I have only heard Michael Kramer in WOT - he and Kate Reading easily made visualizing the book.
Yes several times - I wanted to stand up and cheer several times - I laughed and cried.
It is sad that the series is at an end. I believe that Brandon Sanderson gave great honor to Robert Jordan. I wish there was more story to tell.
No - the story itself grew weak at the end.
I listened to the first 2 books of this trilogy. They were good and the build up to the 3rd book was strong. This book dropped more of the main characters and left the stroy line feeling lonely. It was less dynamic and really left me saying - what a waste!
It was very easy to visualize what he was saying - his caracters were distinct and I could tell who was speaking by the consistency of the voice he gave to each character.
I wish he would rewrite the ending to leave hope. The magical build up with the dancer in the shadows fell flat - I wish he had expanded and created another world.
