One choice can transform you - or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves - and herself - while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Where does Insurgent rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The best! Everything about it was spot on.

What other book might you compare Insurgent to and why?

Divergent which is the first book in the series. It's just as interesting with amazing characters, fast pace, shocking twists and the perfect ending which is not a cliff hanger thankfully.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The very last scene. I listened to it multiple times so that it would hold me over to the next book. Gave me chills!

In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue - Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is - she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

What did you love best about Divergent?

Everything! I'm jealous of people that haven't read it yet because I'd love to experience the story again for the first time. Can't wait for the movie!

What about Emma Galvin’s performance did you like?

She wasn't overly dramatic. She changed her voice and inflections a bit for each character but it wasn't too extreme.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My eyes teared up multiple times both in happiness and sadness. The book is so well written that you truly feel as though you know the characters.
