A very moving account by the creator of logotherapy, Frankl's experiences will stay with the listener long after the reading ends.
Unlike the other reviewers I was pleasantly surprised by this book...I had expected another stand up routine (which would have been fine), instead I learned of his background through entertaining stories. I would not hesitate to recommend this book.
Higgins can spin a great WWII yarn, but this is not one of them and the reader doesn't help matters. After 2 hours I decided there were better books on this website and I stopped listening altogether...
You can never go wrong with Ken Follett and this book does not disappoint. An interesting plot, exciting ending and a good reading all contribute to an enjoyable listen.
A funny, poignant and at times sadly tragic book. I wish the rest of David's books were unabridged, I wonder why not?
