If you like the Halo games, you will like this book. The timeline between this book and the game Halo: Reach do not match up. If you can get past that, you should enjoy the book.
The story was good, and the humor was much like the Diskworld series. Croshaw has a long way to go to reach Pratchett status.
As a narrator Croshaw sounded like he was speaking through his nose. At times I could have sworn that I could her him blowing smoke after inhaling from a cigarette.
You can’t go wrong with unabridged Tolkien. Inglis gave a superb performance. I was entertained from beginning to end.
This was a good listen and the narrator did a fair job. The story has very little in common with the movie.
