I would listen to it again if I was really, really, really bored.
I guess I will if she reads the next two books that I already purchased, but I would rather not. When I first began listening I thought it was a computer reading program. It was that bad.
I may have enjoyed the book more if someone else had performed it.
I don't really recommend Undead and Unwed. I pretty much had to force myself to finish listening to the book. It felt as if I was listening to either a ten-year-old Molly Harper's first novel or an untalented Molly Harper want-to-be. It is not ALL terrible. There were some sentences that made me smile a bit. Some of the problem could be the narrator. I went back and forth trying to decide whether the book was as bad as it seemed to be or whether it was the way the narrator was reading it. I may try reading the ebook to see if it sounds better in my head, but I am leaning toward not purchasing anymore of Mary Janice Davidson's book.
Emotionless, lackluster, & monotone.
If this book were a movie, I might go see it if there was a fantastic screenwriter involved to spice it up. Even the sex scenes were dull.
I listen to my audiobooks while I am driving. Listening to Molly Harper's books while driving sometimes can be dangerous because I sometimes begin laughing so much that I am in danger of driving off of the road. At the very least, anyone who might pass me probably wonders whether or not if I am sane. My daughter listens to the books while she is running or walking. She says people probably believe her to be a bit strange because she is giggling as she runs. I want more.
I have never before listened to any of Amanda Ronconi's performances other than on the Molly Harper books. I would enjoy hearing her read other books.
Luckily, I accidently listened to this before I listened to the first book in the series. Before listening to this one, I did not realize that the series had different authors. I am a huge Jane Austen fan and was hesitant to read this series. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls was wonderfully funny. I loved it until I began listening to the first book. The two books do NOT go together at all, other than the fact that they both contain the zombie-slayiing Bennet girls, zombies, and oriental fighting. It made listening to the first book a bit frustrating. I think I would have been even MORE frustrated if I had read them in order.
Lizzie, of course, was my favorite character.
With the first Jane Jameson book, I was hooked. I listen to audiobooks while I drive. While listening to these books, I worry that the people passing me may think I'm crazy because I am alone in the vehicle and laughing out loud. The series is extremely entertaining. Nice Girls Don't Live Forever does not disappoint.
The Fever Series has become one of my favorites, but Shadowfever left me feeling a bit disappointed. It was as if Ms. Moning just wanted to be done with the series and didn't care about the loose ends. If Karen Marie Moning really wants to satisfy her readers, she will at least write something to tie up those ends. A book or series, continuing on and starring Dani may give her readers at least a more satisfied feeling. Ms. Moning????
Couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. The previous installment of the Fever Series left my friends and I completely freaked out; we had to know what happened next! Karen Marie Moning did not disappoint us. Great book and Mac gets better and better.
My daughter and I fell in love with this series right from the start. Mac started out as a sheltered, ditsy blond girl and ended as a take-no-crude-from-anyone woman. I listened to the audio books and then had to read the hard copies. It was strange to listen to Natalie Ross and Phil Gigante after having Joyce Bean read the first two. Joyce's southern accent was perfect. Natalie does NOT have the southern accent down at all. Other than that the books just keep getting better and better.
