Returning from a covert mission, Mitch Rapp was publicly hailed by the president for his role in the fight against terrorism. After years of working in the shadows, Rapp was caught in the media spotlight - and marked for death by virtually every terrorist in the world. Now a CIA advisor, Rapp is ready to battle terror far from the front lines. But when a Navy SEAL team in the Philippines is ambushed, all evidence points to a leak within the U.S. State Department. What made the experience of listening to Executive Power the most enjoyable?

Couple Vince Flynn's exciting story and with George Guidall narrating and you have a hit!

What other book might you compare Executive Power to and why?

This is the first Mitch Rapp story so I have nothing to compare it to, however, I will purchase others!!!

Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

YES! I have read Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire series. George Guidall is always superb and never ever disappointing!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Do assassins ever retire?

    Any additional comments?

    A must read!

A top nuclear scientist goes mad and takes an innocent family hostage at gunpoint, killing one and causing a massive standoff. A plume of radiation above New York City leads to a warehouse where, it seems, a powerful nuclear bomb was assembled just hours before. Sifting through the evidence, authorities determine that the unthinkable is about to happen: in ten days, a major American city will be vaporized by a terrorist attack.

An excellent fast-paced story! Gideon Crew becomes a more developed and interesting character. David Collins narrates this story wonderfully.

I thoroughly enjoyed this multi-layered suspense thriller. The narrator did an excellent job with the characterizations and pacing. How can you miss with a story by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child?!
