Thanks to an elderly spinster sleuth and her ingenious cat, Christopher Holmes has enjoyed a celebrated career as a bestselling mystery writer. Until now. Sales are down and his new editor is allergic to geriatric gumshoes. On the advice of his agent, he reinvents his fortyish, frumpy, recently dumped self into the sleek, sexy image of a literary lion, and heads for a Northern California writers conference to try and resurrect his career.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    Anyone into gay/lesbian fiction

Has Somebody Killed His Editor turned you off from other books in this genre?

Mysteries no, but I'll be far more careful in future about what I buy during a bogo. Books should be clearly labeled so that those who don't want this type of book, don't get it by accident, thinking its just a normal mystery

How could the performance have been better?

Performance was fine. I might even enjoy the reader in a different setting.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Didn't get past chapter two when the main character started talking about his ex? I turned it off at that point.

    Any additional comments?

Please make sure books are clearly labeled so that unsuspecting buyers don't get a surprise over what they've inadvertently purchased.
