I enjoyed reading about the kind of life that a sea urchin diver lives. Christine Feehan did a great job with telling the story and adding in the "special" needs of the leading lady. The love story was well written and held my interest. I also loved it when Rikki was attacked by that fish with teeth and she threw it and it landed on the deck by Lev! Very funny part!
Rikki was my favorite character. She was very interesting at how she sees things and is aware of what's going on around her. Rikki is a very likable character.
Her inflections on the personalities of the characters is great. She is a very good narrator.
The moment in the book that particularly moved me was when Rikki saved Lev after he was thrown from the ship. She was diving and saw him being battered underneath the sea. The way the author described their eyes meeting was so romantic!
I enjoyed listening to the narrator. The story line was really good and the characters were great!
I liked the way that Devon kicked butt and didn't wait to be rescued by Liam. I especially liked when she beat the crap out of the assassin that was blended into the wall.
I don't believe I have listened to her performances before. She is very good though.
I enjoyed the entire book!
I liked the first book. The story line was interesting. The second book was a little bit better, but by the time I read this third book in the series all the characters from each book just sort of blended together. Not enough differences in the characters to make for an exciting "can't wait to read the next book" though....
The ending was pretty predictable and much like the first and second book in the series. Very little difference in my opinion.
The performance was pretty good - not great - but still worth listening to. I just don't think I can listen to each book in the series because each reads much the same.
More character development and interesting characters.
It ranks way up at the top. I've listened to hundreds of audiobooks and this book is a wonderful third book in the series.
I just love the way Sissy and Mitch just seem to click. I particularly like the part where the alligator and Mitch were wrestling! Sissy is so hilarious! And Mitch is cute with his demanding king of the jungle lion attitude.
I listened to books 1 and 2 so far in this series and just love the way that Charlotte Kane performs/reads the books. Very talented!
Shifters - Wolf and Lion fall in love!
Yes. I enjoyed the comedy and progression of the story between Jesse and Smitty. They are perfect together and I found myself laughing quite a bit throughout this story. Loved the characters personalities.
This is a unique series - just the right amount of good story line, humor, and overall character development. It's unlike other books I've listened to - very humorous without a really deep story line but still deep enough to keep the reader interested.
I listened to the first book in the series and loved the way she read this one as well. Very talented.
I enjoyed the entire book!
Great first book!
I like Dezi - she's spunky and knows how to handle herself. Very interesting character. Loved the progression of the 2 different love stories, too.
Charlotte is a very talented performer and I love to listen to books she narrates. Love the different voices and how she draws the reader into the story.
Shifters are way cool!
Over all a really good book. The series gets so much better with each and every book so far in this 9 series of books.
Right up at the top!
I liked FINALLY hearing about the progression of Rachel and Trent's romance. It's about time it moved along - but I'm glad it did take several books.
I always like Jinks. I just love his little sayings - he's full of comedy!
Strong women rule!
I remember the scene of how Angela escaped through the ventilation system when she broke out of the razorbacks lair. Very well written!
He is very good at telling a story. Very easy to listen to and almost hypnotic in a good sort of way. Really brings the interest of the story to the reader.
I enjoyed the entire book!
Yes I would. This is a very good story - different than the vampires and wearwolves stories I normally read - but just as good!
I enjoyed listening to Myst's reactions about the "elven" butler. She was hilarious and he was almost believable!
I enjoyed the scene where Bastien told Myst something about herself that she didn't even know herself!
I enjoyed the entire book.
This book was impossible for me to get into. The characters were boring and just did not capture my attention in the least.
I'll try another series - this one did not have a good start at all.
Jusstine Eyre didn't do a bad job - just the book sucked.
All of them.
Definitely - I enjoy listening to books much better than reading print. It's easier to get into the story yet get other things done such as house work without distractions.
I compare each of the books by the same author with each other. I enjoyed all the books in the series - at first it was hard to listen to the narrator but she sorta grew on me after a while!
The scene on the waterfront right before Cat was captured was particurlary moving. The author did a great job with just the right amount of descriptions - not too evasive or too lengthy. The scene in the cave at the end of the book was great, too.
Cat and Bones - another great chapter in their lives!!
