If you could sum up The Vampire with the Dragon Tattoo in three words, what would they be?

    Funny, Sad, Interesting

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Vampire with the Dragon Tattoo?

Dougal and Vonna the rubber doll!!

Would you be willing to try another one of Paula Costello’s performances?

No She was not very good. Her Scottish accent was horrible. She keep saying I instead of Aye which means yes, yeah in the Scottish Brogue, but Paula Costello sounded more like the way the Japanese would pronounce yes. She got on my nerves with her narration.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Love at Stake!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No!! Poor narration and no real story!!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Get another narrator and add more of a story line.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator is boring and doesn't have a Scottish Brogue nor is he able to sould like a female when the scene calls for a female voice

Was In the Warrior's Bed worth the listening time?

    No

    Any additional comments?

In The Warrior's Bed is the story of Cullen McJames and Bronwyn McQuade to warring clans. Laird McQuade has gone to the court of James of Scotland accusing Cullen of seducing an spoiling his daughter Bronwyn. Bronwyn and Cullen were spotted chatting on the line were there broaders met by her two older brothers Liam and Sadoc. The brothers reported this to there father who always desiped Bronwyn because she was born a girl her was cruel and treated worst then one of the servants.

After being mad aware of his name being sullied before the court and James of Scotland Cullen visits the court and tell James what happened. Jame believes him and not Laird McQuade and sanctions a marriage between Bronwyn and Cullen to stop the gossip and hopefully bring peace between the two clans.

I didn't like Bronwyn much at first but she later grew on me. The story is very erotic with little romance. I found Bronwyn's character not mature enough for a 23 yrs old women. Her character would have been better served as 18 or younger. Like I said by the end of the story I grew to like her. She grow with the story. I loved Cullen!1 So all's well that ends well. I just wanted more of a storyline rather then just so many sex scenes. Sex scenes are great when there is a good story to go along with it. This was not the case for In The Warrior's Bed!!

Brodick McJames is an earl in name only. To secure his clan's future he needs an English wife. Mary Stanford, daughter of the Earl of Warwickshire, will suit perfectly. He's never met her, but what matter? She'll grace his bed eventually, and once she bears his child he need see her no more.Anne Copper looks just like her noble half-sister, but she was born illegitimate, and can never forget it. The best she can hope for is to stay a serving girl in her own father's house.

If you could sum up In Bed with a Stranger in three words, what would they be?

I really enjoyed re reading this erotic and sensual love story. Great characters and a very mean evil villain who meant harm to our lead female character Anne but it turned to her good.

Philipa the Countess of Warwickshire's daughter Mary has been betrothed to the Scottish Earl Brodick McJames the Earl of Alcaon. Mary doesn't want to marry she is a spoiled old spinster who just want to stay at the court of Queen Elizabeth Tudor. Philipa has refused her husbands bed after she gave birth to Mary 26 years ago She does not want to have anymore children and she doesn't care for the marriage bed. Henry the Earl won't rape or force her to his bed. So the Earl takes a mistress name Ivy and they have many children over the years. Anne our heroine is the eldest daughter. The only problem I had with the story was the Earl leaving his wife in control of the household and his mistress Ivy and her children left subject to her whims. This didn't make sense. Henry the Earl is in love with his mistress and loves all his sons and daughter by her but he sits back an let them be ill treated. This part of the story didn't work for me although Philipa gets her just deserts in the end.

Philipa makes Anne take her daughter place as Brodicks wife. The marriage was done by proxy. Brodick has never seen Mary. Anne must return home to Philipa once she had conceived and have the baby there and give it to Mary. Now this didn't make sense either becasue wouldn't Brodrick know is own wife? Brodick and Anne fall in love and his no the wiser that she isn't his legal wife. They have some very erotic sex Hot!! and they learn to trust and respect each other. They do get there HEA this was an excellent ending to the story. I highly Recommend In Bed With A Stranger, by Mary Wine. I really enjoyed it. This could have easily been a 5 star review but the foolishness of the Earl of Warwick, Anne's father all those years. Just didn't sit right with me. Why leave the family you love under the thumb of his evil wife. I didn't enjoy the narrator. He needs to study the Scottish Brogue and he doesn't sound like a female in those parts when a female is speaking.

What did you like best about this story?

    The Ending!!

How could the performance have been better?

Bruce Mann needs to study the Scottish Brogue and making his voice would like a female when a female is speaking. I didn't like the narration at all.

That's when fate steps in, and she crashes into a tall, dark, and handsome man - Teren Adams. He’s single, successful, an extraordinary gentleman, but he’s also secretive. And some of his secrets are more unusual than most people’s. For instance, he’s a "little bit" vampire. I would not have written the plot line involving Elise the heroine. Causing a debate between the H/H it added nothing but dislike for the Hero!! Who was right according to the era!! Never write a dislikable lead character!!!

What does Victoria J. Mayers and Dennis Kleinman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

These two narrators are the best I have ever listen too. I have 80+ audio books and CD an Victoria J Mayers and Dennis Kleinman are the best. They make the story exciting, romantic and you can feel the emotions of the characters in their voices. They also have a lot of voice changes. They are Amazing!!

Note to author Sandy Raven don't put your readers in a position to chose between H/H. The incident with Elise caused readers to take sides. Which cause a split decision in weather the story was good or great. It could have been great!!!
