Meg Cabot is the New York Times best-selling author of The Princess Diaries series. Susannah Simon is a teenager who can see ghosts. As a bridge between the living and the dead, she gets called on to help ghosts take care of unfinished business. After she and her mother move from New York City to sunny California, Suze meets the sexiest boy she's ever seen, too bad he's a ghost, too.

I loved this book. I'm not a teenager and didn't know it was aimed at that age group when I downloaded it. But I was engaged from the first paragraph. The narrator is perfect for the character Suze. I'm actually going to get the rest of these because I enjoyed the first one so much. Guilty pleasures I guess.

At 45, Rosalind Harper is a woman whose experiences have made her strong enough to bend without breaking - and weather any storm. A widow with three grown sons, she survived a disastrous second marriage, and built her In the Garden nursery from the ground up. But now her future is under attack.

The story was great but the narration was so irritating with all the missing consonants, that I guess were supposed to represent a southern accent, that I could not listen for very long stretches at a time.

The action begins in the heart of Iran, where billions of dollars are being spent on the development of a nuclear program. No longer willing to wait for the international community to stop its neighboring enemy, Israel launches a creative and daring operation that leaves a radioactive tomb in the middle of Iran's second largest city. An outraged Iranian government publicly blames both Israel and the United States and demands retribution.

I love Vince Flynn's books. He gived the reader just the right balance of outrage and payback without being unbelieveable. I just wish there were move unabridged versions on audible.

An intricate tale of love, haunting memories, and renewal, Second Glance begins in current-day Vermont, where an old man puts a piece of land up for sale and unintentionally raises protest from the local Abenaki Indian tribe, who insist it's a burial ground. When odd, supernatural events plague the town of Comtosook, a ghost hunter is hired by the developer to help convince the residents that there's nothing spiritual about the property.

At first it was a little hard to follow but then the story wrapped around and I became so involved with the characters that I continue to find myself wondering what happened to them after the end. I was sorry to get to the end of this book. It's been awhile since I looked for reasons to get back to a book but that's what I did with this one.
