Best part was the narration. The narrators were incredibly realistic.
In some sections the story line was redendant and it was very slow.
Yes. I have read and/or listened several of her works.
Since ther story is told from the perspective of three historical figures, each brought the personalities, and their significant differences to life. THey did an excellent job.
Plot, character, prose
Burkes ability to breathe life into his characters without sacrificing intriguing plot turns kept me on the edge.
Not one, but each scene where Dave and Clete "confront one another with genuine love." The two opposites bring out the best and worst in each.
It mostly made me cry over the genuine evil in the world(as do all of Burke's works), but still juxtaposed against the genuine goodness that love, friendship and responsibility exists in average people.
If I could put in words the literary genius Burke demonstrates, i would be able to write best sellers too.
