The best part of Pines was the ending, not because it was the end, but because that was when it made sense. The least liked part was the endless chase, after injuries that it would make a chase impossible. Got very old.
I would, letting them know the plot gets better.
I saw that it is going to be a movie and think I may like it better as a movie.
The accent was awful.
Disappointment. The book was light on story and heavy on stereotype.
One of the best audiobooks of the year, not just the story, but also the performance.
The story is a continuation of A Time to Kill with violence, scumbag lawyers, racism all fueled by the grasp for money. Lots of twists and interesting characters.
Michel Beck's performance was one of the best.
This book is part of the Butcher's Boy series. It is a fast hard hitting story and I would enjoy reading others like it.
I really enjoyed this book. It had been awhile since I had listened to a murder thriller and this was very good. A Manson-like murderer escapes from prison and brings panic and bloodshed where ever he goes. There are a lot of twists and turns that make sense and keep the reader's interest.
