First defining the resistance we face in trying to live our authentic lives, then offering ways to combat it and finally offering a course of action to continuing a course to living it, this book is a phenomenal resource that gives you a path to create a better life for yourself. Highly recommended for anyone who feels like they have lost focus, hope or purpose in their life.
While there is definitely a lot of great information to digest in this audiobook, that may also be it's undo in a small way. What are great lists of ideas in the book, are just snippets of soundbites in the audiobook, leaving me wishing Chris had reformatted it a bit for audio to make it a little more digestible.
I'm a big fan of gameification of your life and this book is one of the first sources I've read or heard that explained it.
The audiobook is worth the listening time, but I would get the book to go along with it or I think you'd be lost.
If you're looking for ideas to make life's chores a bit more exciting, this audiobook gives you a lot of good insights to do it.
The rich story has so many characters to like, each with interesting motivations and reasons for you to like them.
I like the fact that while there are a lot of characters being juggled around, he does a great job of making each story one you want to return to. Many times in series like this, you just want to fast forward some sections to get to characters you like, but I found myself liking everyone enough to see what was happening in each of their sections.
I definitely like the back and forth of the readers as they enter chapters for their characters.
Just seeing the growth of Kaladin is really cool.
If he can keep up the quality for the 10 books this story is supposed to take and not slow down the pace, this could be one of the best epic series to come out in a long time.
