The Thief is a seasoned pickpocket. Anonymous in his tailored suit, he weaves in and out of Tokyo crowds, stealing wallets from strangers so smoothly that sometimes he doesn't even remember the snatch. Most people are just a blur to him; nameless faces from whom he chooses his victims. He has no family, no friends, no connections.... But he does have a past, which finally catches up with him when Ishikawa, his first partner, reappears in his life and offers him a job he can't refuse.

    No

What three words best describe Charlie Thurston’s voice?

    common, indistinct and plain

Could you see The Thief being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Could be a better moving than book / audiobook

Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

If you could sum up One Second After in three words, what would they be?

Picture a world that has no power and very little likelihood of the lights ever coming back on. Than know that that this possibility could very easily be accomplished by a number of groups / Countries.

What about Joe Barrett’s performance did you like?

Joe is just a fantastic Reader. Can't say it any better than that.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

In a perfect world yes, This would be a one sitting book listen.

Whatever You Do, Don't Run is a hilarious collection of true tales from top safari guide Peter Allison. In a place where the wrong behavior could get you eaten, Allison has survived face-to-face encounters with big cats, angry elephants, and the world's most unpredictable animals: herds of untamed tourists and foolhardy guides whose outrageous antics sometimes make them even more dangerous than a pride of hungry lions!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book was recommended to me when I was in Africa by someone who had already been. I was not disappointed and I have recommended it to anyone whether they are going to Africa, already been to Africa or is never planning to go to Africa.

What other book might you compare Whatever You Do, Don't Run to and why?

I don't believe I've ever really read a book quite like this. It's an adventure story based on someone's account.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I can't wreck any part of the book, But there are some hilarious scenes and I can just imagine I'm really happening.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again I really don't like this question because it takes a lot for me to be considered "Moved". This was just a fun book

Neal Carey is not your usual private eye. A graduate student at Columbia University, he grew up on the streets of New York, usually on the wrong side of the law. Then he met a P.I. who introduced him to the Bank, an exclusive institution with a sideline in keeping its wealthy clients happy and out of trouble. They pay Neal's college tuition, and Neal gets an education that can't be found in any textbook, from learning how to trail a suspect to mastering the proper way to search a room. Now it's payback time.

If you could sum up A Cool Breeze on the Underground in three words, what would they be?

Fun listen that was written before smartphones and a connected world. It's a new twist on an old genre. It's a little bit of a darker side to the old school gumshoe meets the mob.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The Plot definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and I had a few of those "owe no" kind of moments.

What about Joe Barrett’s performance did you like?

Joe does a great job bringing each character to life with its own voice. I particularly love the New York tough guy accent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I'm not easily moved buy a book especially one that I really read because I was looking for something entertaining. It's more that Book made me smile.
