On its own, audio not optimal for a weightloss/lifestyle book
Narration was fine.
I like the theory of the book, not really unusual--but the author did use science to substantiate his claims.
Top 10 for sure. Very engaging.
Easy to listen, helped me identify with the characters.
So beautifully written, very engaging to see the characters unfold as their relationship developed.
Yes, I think would appeal to lots of different types of people.
Odd of course, and the Russian!--loved him!
He is so good at sounding like Odd, and still bringing the other characters to life too!
The very end is interesting, and that's all I have to say about that.
Odd's personality. He is innocent and smart without ever seeming over confident.
This is just as good as the other Odd Thomas books to which I have listened.
I did have a couple of parking lot moments...where I sat in my car even after I got home or to work to get to a good place to stop.
I don't know, because I have only listened to this book. But I cannot imagine I could read any of the Odd books without hearing David Aaron Baker in my head.
Odd, of course. And Elvis, love Elvis's role in this book.
I have not read (listened to) all of the Inspector Gamache books, but it doesn't seem to matter too much to read them out of order.
I love listening to this as I fall asleep. I only wish there were more editions!
The characters in this story were very real. The writing was excellent and the naration brought the story to life. The device of the character telling the story, as written, was a little odd. But, it never distracted from the story and turned out to be a mechanism for some good messages.
Loved the dual narrators. Particularly fabulous for this story.
The ending was NOT what I expected. I will definitely listen to this author again!
among the best ever.
other JRR Tolkien, of course.
perfect as usual--I love listening to him!
several times I both laughed out loud and cried. Engaging drama!!!
I liked how the author pulled information and research from various areas to synthesis his premise.
Not all in one sitting, but I did have a couple of driveway moments, where I sat in the driveway waiting to hear the end of the chapter.
