An assistant curator of Munich's National Museum, Vicky Bliss is no expert on Egypt, but she does have a Ph.D. in solving crimes. So when an intelligence agency offers her a luxury Nile cruise if she'll help solve a murder and stop a heist of Egyptian antiquities, all 5'11" of her takes the plunge.

Snoodely says: "What a difference a narrator makes."
    "What was the point?"
    Overall

Listened through the first half trying to figure why I was listening as the story never really caught on and made you want to continue.
Not one of Elizabeth Peter's better books, wouldn't bother to buy and certainly didn't finish it myself.

Considered "one of the masters of psychological fiction in America" (San Francisco Chronicle), Kate Wilhelm serves up a chilling puzzle that will keep listeners captivated until the very end.

    Joyce says: "Tedious at best"
    "Too Dramatic..."
    Overall

the story may been a good one but the reader, Marguerite Gavin made this book to annoying to even listen to the first half hour. Unfortunately I usually really enjoy Kate Wilhelm but have to admit that I could not get past the first half hour due to the reader which ruined it for me. It was painful and irritating to listen to her narration of the story, unfortunately and a waste of money.
