For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

I have listened to ALL of J. D. Robb's books in this series. Some better than others of course but I will always listen to future releases. I'm ready for the next release! Write faster Nora! : )

As usual, Susan Ericksen does a splendid job. If someone else does the narration in the future, for me, it would destroy the enjoyment of this series. Susan has made us know each and every character so well and to change to another narrator would make them total strangers.

This is a good addition to the series for sure!

Bravo Brett Battles! It takes talent to write a series that never wavers from the best! I've enjoyed each and every book in this series! Scott Brick is officially at the top of my list of favorite narrators. I never grew tired of his voice. I would highly recommend this series to everyone. I sincerely hope Book 9 comes SOON!!!

I have listened to the entire KGI series with full enjoyment...until this one! Even the narration fell short! The storyline was shallow and heavily outweighed with sexual content. I have always loved the balance of story vs. sex that Maya Banks achieved in the KGI series. However, in this book...if you divided it into thirds, it would shake out as 1/3 storyline and 2/3 sex. The storyline didn't truly kick in until the last hour of the book. Adam Paul didn't deliver on the establishment of the characters either. He made the main male character seem like a high schooler with a major crush and absolutely NO self confidence at times. The main female character moved WAY too fast which made her unbelievable (considering she was suppose to be a virgin). Come on Maya!!!! You can do better than this! I think if you took the time to LISTEN...not read the entire book, you would quickly pull it from the series.

Wish I could recommend this to other readers, but just can't do it! I have in the past hooked my friends on this series and will continue to highly recommend all the other books in the series with the exception of this one. Not worth the credit!

The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.

I have now completed the entire Mitch Rapp series and am SO sad to get to the last book. I sincerely hope it isn't the end of the series. I don't think I ever enjoyed a series quite as much as this one. The only glitch I feel kept this from being the "perfect" series was when two of the books had different narrators. George Guidall spoiled us in the very beginning and a change of narration became unacceptable. Otherwise, this series was so full of excitement, anticipation and even sadness. So true to life! Thank you Vince Flynn for a wonderful contribution to the audible world and PLEASE keep Mitch Rapp alive for all his fans!

For years, Mitch Rapp's bold actions have saved the lives of countless Americans. His battles for peace and freedom have made him a hero to many, and an enemy to countless more. In the tangled, duplicitous world of espionage, there are those, even among America's allies, who want to see Mitch Rapp eliminated. They have decided the time has come.

I enjoyed this story to the fullest! I cannot say enough good things about George Guidall's narration. Of course having a talented author such as Vince Flynn offer an extraordinay series makes audible books so intriguing and enjoyable right down to the last moments of the book. I'm getting very close to the end of the series and dread downloading the last book. :( It will be hard to find another series that comes close in comparison. Every book in this series is credit worthy! Vince Flynn/George Guidall team will be difficult to beat! Great job!!!!

I'm into book 6 of this series and am a true fan of Vince Flynn. However, being the avid listener of all times, narration is truly important to me. George Guidall - wonderful, Nick Sullivan - tolerable, but if Ken Kilban was the narrator for the rest of this series, I would not spend my credits. I don't mean any disrespect but the narrator brings the book to life and Ken Kilban...not so much. His tone is ALMOST irritating. The story line is way too good to waste it on a narrator that diminishes it.

Jeffrey Archer is such a gifted writer! To say that I'm an avid listener would be an understatement to say the least. Of all the narrators that I've had the pleasure to hear over the last two years, Roger Allam is the one at the top of my list. A stellar performance! I never grew tired of hearing his voice. Because of the intriguing storyline, I couldn't stop listening. The book was over 16 hours but still WAAAAAY too short.

The rescue on Duran Island did not go as planned. Jonathan Quinn knows that someone is responsible. That someone decided throwing people Quinn cares about into the line of fire in a cold-hearted act of self-preservation was a good idea. He also knows that this someone has made a serious mistake. Because when Quinn gets mad, the last place anyone should ever be is in his crosshairs. He will not stop until the guilty pay. Sometimes revenge is best served now.

Now that I've listened to the full series, I want to say that my mind has changed about Scott Brick. The very first book in the series led me to believe that Scott Brick was way over dramatic and I still feel that way. However, as the books progressed, I almost felt like he relaxed and the narrations became better and better. By the time The Enraged ended, I was a fan. As for the stories by Brett Battles...they couldn't be better. I took no break between novels and never grew tired of listening. I will buy ALL future releases of Jonathan Quinn and I hope they come quickly! Early on, I never thought I'd say this...but I do hope Scott Brick narrates all future releases in this series.

As for John Morgan...I can't say enough. With the gift of bringing the characters to life, his mellow voice is so transfixing. I'm in awe of his Italian narration...simply beautiful. I sincerely hope Reynard continues this series.

A hand-picked cadre of warriors, they had the fierce courage of their Scots forefathers, combined with the stealth and cunning of the Indians who lived beside them in the wilderness. Battling the French in a no-holds-barred combat, they forged a new brand of honor, became a new breed of men - MacKinnon's Rangers. Iain MacKinnon had been forced to serve the British crown, but compassion urged him to save the lovely lass facing certain death at the hands of the Abenaki. He'd defied his orders, endangered his brothers, his men and his mission, all for a woman. But when he held Annie's sweet body in his arms, he could feel no regret.

I caught myself anticipating what was to happen next. If there's a negative thing to be said about Kaleo Griffith, it would be that he didn't read FAST ENOUGH! LOL!!! This book has certainly pulled me into the entire series! Worth the credit? ABSOLUTELY!
