Behind Eli McCain’s Texas drawl lies an extreme sports lover, a former Hollywood stuntman…and a broken heart. Left at the altar a year ago, he’s not happy when Thrillseekers Anonymous, the extreme sports club he cofounded, gets into the celebrity wedding business. Especially since Marnie Banks, the wedding coordinator with the stunning smile and sexy curves, never stops talking. Marnie, meanwhile, hopes planning an A-list celebrity wedding will be her ticket to success. If only her glamorous clients weren’t constantly throwing outrageous demands at her. And if only Eli wasn’t so guarded - and so jaw-droppingly handsome.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked this story because of the humor between the characters.

    Any additional comments?

This was a good typical love story. I liked the banter between the characters and I caught myself giggling a time or two. However the story is pretty predictable for a love story and the Marnie character was a little annoying at times. Also, I am not a big fan of narrators who deepen their voices to sound like the men because their voices come off as silly.

A girl who believes trust can be misplaced, promises are made to be broken, and loyalty is an illusion. A boy who believes truth is relative, lies can mask unbearable pain, and guilt is eternal. Will what they find in each other validate their conclusions, or disprove them all?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good love story and a story with multiple layers.

Who was your favorite character and why?

OH! Lucas by far! Lucas/Landon is such a great character! He is moody, mysterious, endearing, complicated, wounded, hunky and guarded.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had an extreme reaction to Lucas/Landon.... I didn't really laugh or cry in this one but I fell in Love with Lucas's character.

    Any additional comments?

I read this book just before the author released Breakable which is the same story but told in Lucas's perspective. I love authors who write book in two perspectives because it allows you to find out more about both characters instead of just focusing on one. Easy was a great book and really sucked me into the storyline however Breakable was where the real story began. Easy does have in intense storyline with Jackie and just dips into Lucas's story.

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand. Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid.

What did you love best about Beautiful Disaster?

I loved the storyline and characters in this book. How can you not fall in love with Travis!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Emma Galvin?

Emma did an ok job narrating this book. Although I hated the "accent" she used for the voice of Travis... was it boston or new jersey... not sure but I guess it was not the "voice" i would have picked for the character. I am not a huge fan of woman deepening their voices to do the male voices as it sounds like a female faking a male voice which is not sexy to hear.

    Any additional comments?

This is a really great book. I read both Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster and enjoyed them both. I love hearing the same book in both perspectives and it will typically explain things that are going on in the background of the story. Travis was charming and annoying all at the same time but always in a good way. At times, I felt like Abby was always waiting for Travis to screw up as she runs away before he has a chance to explain. however, I found myself overlooking Abby's personality when you find out more about her past. Great book and i recommend reading Travis's story Walking Disaster.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    The ending was exciting.

    Any additional comments?

This was a good story for a romance. Predictable in places and alittle overdone on the sex scenes. I felt like the female character, Claire, was a little annoying at times as she was over reacting to situations in the book... It is a typical storyline but not hideous.

Where does Falling into You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This would be one of my top audiobooks that i have listened to so far.

What other book might you compare Falling into You to and why?

I am not sure I can compare this book to any other book I have read. The story was unique, endearing and surprising.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are too many moments in the book that moved me. While reading this book my emotions were all over the place and I think very similar to what the characters were going through. As a reader, you want to have the "hero" character which you get in both Kyle and Colton but as soon as you are comfortable loving the Kyle character the story changes and in steps Colton.

    Any additional comments?

This was a surprisingly great book. It provides a mix of emotions that keep you interested without all the sappy over played sex scenes. I love characters with multiple layers and unexpected past.

What did you like best about this story?

This was a good book for a quick read. It is a typical romance novel but you can get invested in the characters and their lives.

Which character – as performed by Sophie Eastlake – was your favorite?

I think my favorite character from the book was Josh, the teenage son. He was charming and funny at times.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Your everyday love story

    Any additional comments?

This was a good story with multiple layers to the characters. I liked that it was more about the story than the sex scenes that can sometimes be "over played". It was a believable story with good genuine characters.
