For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

I have been re-listening to the whole series waiting for the release on this new book. I started to read the book while listening and had to stop listening and just read the book first. I read faster than the audio book. This book has some heart touching moments in it.
    I enjoyed it very much.
I enjoy the dramatization of the audio books. And I never get tired of the characters in the books. Great job Susan and thanks Nora.

Fun to listen to the dialogue in this book at times between the two main characters. It does show the precarious positions that women hold in life.

I enjoy Susan Ericksen's narration of J D Robb's In Death series and she was good with this author's work too.

With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.

Two young children disappear from their East Side home in New York City, their nanny killed in cold blood. As Lieutenant Eve Dallas begins to unravel the crime scene and search for Henry and Gala MacDermit, she's drawn into the twisted mind of a kidnapper who will stop at nothing to take revenge. Horrific threats concerning the brother and sister hit far too close to home for Eve, drawing her back into memories of her own tortured childhood.

Great short story. I love to see Eve's growth in interactions with each character and how she reacts to children. She has come a long way since Naked In Death the first book in this series.

When she joined St. Kilda's, the elite security consulting firm, Emma Cross thought she'd left behind the blood, the guilt, and the Tribal Wars that defined her life at the CIA. Yet trading spying for investigating yacht thefts didn't alleviate the danger. Now, the same good instincts that got her into trouble at the agency might be the one thing that will help her survive her latest case.

In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

It is nice to have my personal beliefs verified without having a NDE. Life is confusing and we grow up with many fears learned from infancy, generations of cellular memory and previous lifetimes. Releasing my fears, enjoying the now is my purpose this time around. Thank you Anita for that realization.

Discover the revolutionary formula that heals the source of illness and disease, even success and relationship issues. According to Stanford, Harvard, Mayo Clinic, the CDC, and other research centers, there is one source of up to 95% of all illness and disease, and it is not your thoughts, emotions, conscious beliefs, actions, or even your DNA. Solomon revealed this source more than 3000 years ago.

I have the book and started reading it over a year ago, I never finished it. I bought the audio book and read the book while listening to it. I could not put it down. I was ready for the information in this book. A website is available for FREE assistance and aids to using the codes. I highly recomend this book.
