This book was a great review of some of the ways to keep yourself on a positive track. The information is not new or earth shattering but a great review and reminder of some of the basics. Reminding us that taking calculated risks, following are dreams and hard work can pay off. I need this reminder every now and then and this is a great way to get it. I listened to a few a day to get my head in the right place.
No, the book was very preachy and not what I expected.
I am believe in a lot of possibilities but this was not believable to me. First off it is more about the father and how he interprets the story. Second even if the son went to heaven and saw some of the things that he talks about I think others were his imagination. How many 4 year olds make up stories and here is one child that the parents believe everything he says. What child wouldn’t create this place when every time they speak of it they have their parents’ total attention and belief?
This story was just not for me. Listened for about 5 hours and just could not get into the book. My book club was reading it and I guess that it was pretty much divided between liked it and hated it. I just don't have time to listen to something that would take me so long to get into.
This is basically a book about the Bible and Christ. If you are a Christian, strong believing then you might like it. If you are looking for a book about overcoming fear and living to your full potential you might want to skip it.
I loved this book and the characters. It definitely held my interest. If you have ever worked for a corporation that just didn’t make sense it is a book for you.
