"I have something to confide in you. I think my husband, Dave, might be having an affair. I found an earring in his pocket, and it's not mine. I'm also worried because some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman - and Dave used to visit her a lot. You see, he's a pastor. And a good man. I can't believe he's guilty of anything, but why won't he tell me where he's been when he comes home so late?"

What was one of the most memorable moments of 8 Sandpiper Way?

When Dave seeks out the help of Roy Macaffy and Shaw, Tanni and the Cave.

Have you listened to any of Sandra Burr’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Sandra Burr knows how to change from character to the other flawlessly.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but then the series would be over because I want to listen to them all in one sitting.

"I'm not much of a letter-writer. As the sheriff here, I'm used to writing incident reports, not chatty letters. And I've got plenty to keep me occupied, like the unidentified remains found in a cave outside town. And the fact that my friend, Judge Olivia Griffin, is fighting cancer. And the break-ins at 204 Rosewood Lane -- the house Faith, my former girlfriend, happens to be renting from Grace Harding...."

Troy Davis, the struggle of being in love, losing his wife of 30 years, being the sheriff and dealing with everything he did in this book.

The way she can transition from one character to the next and you feel like you actually can tell who is who in her voice.

    Yep!

In 6 Rainier Drive listeners are whisked away to Cedar Cove, Washington, where Justine and Seth Gunderson are feeling the shock of the arson that destroyed their restaurant. They're eager to move on, but divided over which direction to take.

Would you listen to 6 Rainier Drive again? Why?

No, because of the narrator. She paused way too much and had a hard time trying to switch between charactors. The young charactors sounded older than the older ones.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like all of the charactors, they all seem to have their twists.

Would you be willing to try another one of Andrea Gallo’s performances?

I am currently listening to 74 Seaside Avenue which is the next in the series. Her pausing has gotten better, but her shift from the charactors is still bad. I am listening, because it helps me deal with the traffic in Los Angeles and I love the series, but not because of the narrator.

To Clare Cosi's surprise, this fall's hottest fashion trend is anything caffeinated - because designer Lottie Harmon, a loyal coffeehouse customer, has just created an ingenious collection of coffee-inspired fashion accessories. So naturally Lottie chooses the Village Blend as the perfect backdrop for fall Fashion Week insiders to view her new line of "Java Jewelry." When barista Tucker unwittingly serves a poisonous latte to a prominent figure on the fashion scene, Clare suspects that the real target may have been Lottie. Now she must protect her thriving business, Lottie, and Tucker....

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Just when you think you know who did it, the story takes you in a different direction. It made me want to figure it out before the end of the book, which I was happy to know that I had.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Maryann finally stood up for herself and any scene with Anatoli.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened on my drive to work and home in Los Angeles traffic, so I wanted to save it for then.

    Any additional comments?

I did not realise that this book was part of a series and it makes me want to listen to the others.

As Stephanie Coulter discovers, sometimes you find it in the most ordinary places - and what could be more ordinary than the office? Stephanie, who works as an assistant at Lockwood Industries in Minneapolis, is temporarily assigned to the boss - Jonas Lockwood himself. Jonas lives up (or down!) to his reputation as a tyrant, dictator, and grouch. But Stephanie’s colleagues, romance readers all, decide that he’s really the classic lonely hero. What he needs, they say, is Love ’n’ Marriage.

If you could sum up Love in Plain Sight in three words, what would they be?

    Another good listen

What did you like best about this story?

Although you could anticpate the ending in both stories, it was fun seeing how they got there.

"I love living in Cedar Cove, but things haven't been the same since a man died in our B and B. Turns out his name was Max Russell, and Bob had known him briefly in Vietnam. We still don't have any idea why he came here and - most important of all - who killed him. Because it now appears that he was poisoned. I sure hope somebody figures it out soon!"

Would you consider the audio edition of 44 Cranberry Point to be better than the print version?

Only listening, did not read. But listening to Sandra Burr narrate the story I think makes it better.

What did you like best about this story?

Keeping the characters going, makes me want to keep moving onto the next book.

Which character – as performed by Sandra Burr – was your favorite?

    Grace & Cliff...Olivia & Jack...Charolette/Ben...well all of them

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A lot of both to make you laugh and cry....I figured out almost instantly who the killer was once the story progressed, still was surprised as to the why. I don't want to give away any details.

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait to read/listen the next one in the series.
