I've been reading Reacher and Bosch for the past few months. I needed a break. I had read a lot of Sidney Sheldon a long time ago. I realized I had read this but had mostly forgotten. Well written and narration was good too. Enjoyed the story and liked a break from my usual.
One of my favorites! Mystery, history, comedy, and a nice ending. Loved it. Almost as much as I love New Orleans.
Simple straightforward melancholy story rated G. Too long for such few events. A good listen to fall asleep to. Pretty corny and unbelievable. Wonder what happened. To father and ex husband?.
This is by far the worst book Mary Kay has written. The story might be better but the narrator takes away any chance of it being at the least entertaining. I am a fan of MKA but this is bad. Not interesting at all.
I have a problem with the n word. Both this book and the one before it used it. The previous one used it more ,made me cringe each time. I feel like it was unnecessary could have been done differently and still have gotten the point across.I am well aware that there are many different people in this crazy world I don't think it was necessary. Kinda ruined it for me.
This is the Jack Reacher I love...BUT the story was very confusing to me I had to relisted to a couple of chapters, and kind of a let down at the end. I expected it to be a real surprise but it really wasn't to me.
Really enjoyed every moment of this story and was a bit surprised about who done it!
I love Jack Reacher but this was a bit confusing for me for some reason. Liked the crew being back together that interaction was great but might have to have another listen.
Dick Hill is the best.
I absolutely loved it!! Couldn't put it down. Learned much about turtles which I love too.
The story was great but the narration was unbelievable!. I actually can't believe this guy has a job doing this. He sounded like a bad character in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Sometimes I had to laugh at his voice. It was hard to discern between the characters. I am afraid I can't listen to the rest of the books in this series because of him. Bad choice for a good book. To Peter Giles, "You totally blew it, dude. "
