Best-selling author Jennifer Chiaverini has captivated fans around the world with her beloved Elm Creek Quilts novels, which have even spawned a line of fabrics inspired by the series. In this moving tale, Bonnie’s quilting shop goes out of business just as her divorce approaches. But Bonnie gets a chance to escape when her old friend Claire invites her to Hawaii to help launch a new quilter’s retreat at a charming bed and breakfast.

Wendy says: "Nice history of Hawaiin quilts too"

I have read just about all of the Elm Creek Quilt books, this is another hit for the author. I'd like to suggest that the Narrator find out the correct pronouncation of some of the Hawaiian words. It hurt my ears to hear her mispronounce the Queen's name and some of the other words. All in all I enjoyed the book.

Laurel McBane has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents’ financial problems. Now Laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionary delights that add the perfect touch to their clients’ weddings.

Maha Bali says: "Very flat, but great ending"

Great book. Looking forward to the next one.
