I enjoyed the book all the way through. This is the first time I have read Ted Dekker and I listened to both of the Caleb books, and liked them both.
The book is interesting but with every other sentence some one is swearing it takes away from the story. You can write a good book with out all the curing.
I was disappointed in the narrator. He didn't seem to have the right kind of emotion for the story. I have read all of James Rollins books and listen to many of the on Audible and have learn that the narrator makes a big difference with the book. I prefer Mr. Fernandez who has done other Rollins books and makes them exciting and interesting. This book drags in some spots. I do like Tucker and Kane and just happen to listen to Bloodline right before I got this book where they are introduced with the Sigma team.
I listened to "Green" first and am now on the last book of the series. I am enjoying the books so much I am having a hard time getting other things done. Ron Lamont's narration keeps things exciting and moving along. This is the first books I've read from Ted Dekker and have add other of his books to my Wish List.
I would suggest you listen to the samples of the other books before purchasing them.
It was a great book to listen too and hope some people learn from it.
All of it.
I laughed and cried for him and his students!
Michael's voice was easy to listen to, and his story was interesting. Glad that he hasn't forgotten where he started from and who helped him along the way. It amazed me some of the things that he went through and is happy his life is going better.
I had never listen to any of his other books but I unnderstand why Mr. King picked Mr. Wasson to narrate this book. His performance was outstanding. He matchedd the book perfectly.
I don't really care for the gory books of Steven King however I love his story and movie Shashank Redemption. I think he is a great story teller and should write more books that tells the story with out the gory stuff. I know he has a big following for that kind of writing but do like when he writes these kinds of books.
It is a fast pace series in through out, with the exception of a few slow areas. I enjoyed the whole series and would rather buy and listen to all of the books instead of waiting for another book to come out. There are times that things are repeated to much but overall I liked it.
I enjoyed the narration of Mr. Porter and will listen to him again. In fact listening right now to another book his is doing.
I wish the author had or is going to do more books.
Love, sad, and interesting story
The grandmother, very strong lady!
He was great!
I would leave it just the way it is.
I listen to it twice and would listen again. It was a great book to hear.
He is very easy to listen to, and its easier for me to get the message when spoken.
Keep smiling, and a reconfirmation of what the Lord says for us to do.
