Dr. Glover believes there are men who suffer what he calls the "Nice Guy Syndrome". These men listen, offer advice, and jump at the chance to help. But no matter how hard they try to please others, their own lives are incomplete. Here Dr. Glover offers guidance on how to take back control. He suggests ways to achieve fulfillment in emotional, physical, and professional relationships. By redefining his priorities, any man can create the life he always wanted.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I can't say, It's supposed to be a self help book on the "Nice Guy Syndrome", however, while the book has some interesting ideas, the author makes sweeping generalizations and paints these "nice guys" with a very broad brush.

Would you ever listen to anything by Robert A. Glover again?

    Probably not.

Would you be willing to try another one of Robert O'Keefe’s performances?

I think it did a reasonably good job given the material

    Any additional comments?

The only research appears to be from the authors own experience and anecdotes from his "nice guy" mens group. Maybe he needs a bigger sampling and some real science to support his hypothesis.
