As the new story begins, Leeds and his "aspects" are hired by I3 (Innovative Information Incorporated) to recover a corpse stolen from the local morgue. But there's a catch. The corpse is that of a pioneer in the field of experimental biotechnology, a man whose work concerned the use of the human body as a massive storage device. He may have embedded something in the cells of his now dead body. And that something might be dangerous.

Love the narrator. I was having flashbacks to the Monster Hunter International books which I also love. Great voices for the different characters, great tone and meter. You will absolutely love the performance as well as the story.

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I thought this was going to be an action / adventure / mystery book but it is all about romance. This is not a guy book. Scattered insights into life challenges during the time period but not worth enduring the rest of the story

Agent Franks of the U.S. Monster Control Bureau is a man of many parts - parts from other people, that is. Franks is nearly seven feet tall and all muscle. He's nearly indestructible. Plus he’s animated by a powerful alchemical substance and inhabited by a super-intelligent spirit more ancient than humanity itself. Good thing he’s on our side. More or less.

I liked the story, but this is a youth book and there was frankly unreasonable profanity. This is a book I would not have my kids listen to or read. I don't understand why young kids and teens are being bombarded with this but I find it offensive.

Macbeth: A Novel brings the intricacy and grit of the historical thriller to Shakespeare’s tale of political intrigue, treachery, and murder. In this full-length novel written exclusively for audio, authors A. J. Hartley and David Hewson rethink literature’s most infamous married couple, grounding them in a medieval Scotland whose military and political upheavals are as stark and dramatic as the landscape in which they are played.

Such a let down. Creepy sex scenes that added nothing to the plot, completely out of place and unnecessary to the story. Highly discourage this poor adaptation of a classic story. Narration was alright but the accents were so strong it was sometimes difficult to understand / follow.

As for the performance it was great, I was waiting for one of the characters to say "I'm Batman" but it didn't happen (I'll let you guess who that character was) JK

Can't wait for the rest of the books!

Yet the old magics of Allomancy and Feruchemy continue to play a role in this reborn world....

As a lover of the Mistborn books, I was suspicious of the premise of this book, but this was certainly not a let down. This will be a new series, and I look forward to future books. You don't need to have read the Mistborn books, but it would probably help. The narration again is incredible, this book being a major challenge to narrate as one of the characters uses different voices as part of his disguises. Highly recommend.

I regret delaying my download of these books because of the negative reviews regarding the narrator. Overall I would say he is a better narrator than many other books I have downloaded here.

Now about the book, Be prepared to listen to a book that you can't put down. I had to explain to my wife why I was listening to a book after going to bed, I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. This is a much smarter, well written than most of the books out there. I rarely write reviews, but feel strongly that I owe it to you to recommend this entire series, you won't regret it.
