On some days, New York is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. This was one of the other days... Melody Malone, owner and sole employee of the Angel Detective Agency, has an unexpected caller. It's movie star Rock Railton, and he thinks someone is out to kill him. When he mentions the 'kiss of the Angel', she takes the case. Angels are Melody's business...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I was expecting a story that would accompany the doctor who TV series. Like the other radio/ audio books have done in the past. This was more like a spin off. It just wasn't what I was expecting.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I was hoping for more of a tie in to the television episode Angels Take Manhattan. I had assumed it would Mention the Doctor, his companions or the tardis. No such luck.

    Any additional comments?

Alex Kingston did a wonderful job narrating this story. It just wasn't what I was expecting.

Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose during lunch at one of London’s fanciest restaurants. But when his big question involves a trip abroad, not a trip down the aisle, she’s completely crushed. So when Ben, an old flame, calls her out of the blue and reminds Lottie of their pact to get married if they were both still single at 30, she jumps at the chance. No formal dates - just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on Ikonos, the sun-drenched Greek island where they first met years ago. Their family and friends are horrified. Fliss, Lottie’s older sister, knows that Lottie can be impulsive - but surely this is her worst decision yet.

Where does Wedding Night rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Wedding night is a fun fast read/listen. As always kinsella is quirky and fun. Twenties girl still remains my favorite among her other books. I would rank this with "un domestic goddess" (not a favorite but still worth a read)

    Any additional comments?

This book reminded me a lot of her "wedding girl" book. If it wasn't for the older sisters meddling it should have been a "M Wickham" book.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can.

Would you listen to Inheritance again? Why?

I would listen to the book again, but only to see what I missed.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I was frustrated things were not all put into the order I wanted it. I believe I have been spoiled by fiction that wraps everything up in a neat little package that they often call an ending. So when a novel leaves things still unsettled it is disappointing. Although more accurate to real life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Disappointment.

    Any additional comments?

The book it worth reading if you have read the others.
