Once every year, Scoutmaster Tim Riggs leads a troop of boys into the Canadian wilderness for a weekend camping trip - a tradition as comforting and reliable as a good ghost story around a roaring bonfre. The boys are a tight-knit crew. There’s Kent, one of the most popular kids in school; Ephraim and Max, also well-liked and easygoing; then there’s Newt the nerd and Shelley the odd duck. For the most part, they all get along and are happy to be there - which makes Scoutmaster Tim’s job a little easier.

What made the experience of listening to The Troop the most enjoyable?

Found myself waiting for this horrible GORE Fest to begin after reading the Reviews I was excited for some Shock & Aww and ended up waiting, & waiting, & waiting... Then waited some more.. Then found myself at the end.?! The Sissy's writing these reviews must need to leave the Light on to read Cat In The Hat.. Cause Eating Green Eggs n Ham Is Bout as Macabre as it gets.. And I'm So Scared of Talking Cats.. Seriously? I could understand maybe one review but multiple reviews paint this book as something that shouldn't be read on a full stomach when honestly I found it to be Light Horror if anything.. Gore?! Not at all.. Maybe I'm numb to things, maybe being a Psychopath causes me to overlook certain chapters of Gore leaking bodily fluids from the pages but I doubt it. Instead I believe one of three things is going on here.. 1: over embellishing the reviews by "Professional Reviewers" in attempt to sell more books 2: Someone using multiple accounts or some Group of someone's attempting to hurt sales of this book or lastly 3: This book somehow was picked as the book of the month at the Sissy-LaLa book club. Don't judge by reviews, give this one a chance! I honestly think the story only ranked 3 stars because I was so worked up for something that never happened because of misleading reviews so Please judge for yourself!

What other book might you compare The Troop to and why?

I found it to be fairly unique in its own way considering how overdone the whole Infectious disease scene is these days.

What does Corey Brill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As always I prefer audio books because a reader can (doesn't always or is incapable of ) adding personality to a story, voices, emotions such as Fear, anger, insanity.. Building up anticipation, pulling you up the hill before pushing you down.. Like a Coaster ride.. It's impossible to do this while reading to yourself unless you know what happens next in which case what fun is that?!

If you could take any character from The Troop out to dinner, who would it be and why?

To avoid Spoilers let's just say "The Crazy one" you'll know who that is by end of story.. If take him out to dinner with me.. Why?? Isn't it obvious?? Oh yeah you haven't read it yet . Well I'd take him with be so he could Cut My Meat.. hahaha drum beat.. Bah Dah Dah!!

    Any additional comments?

Read reviews sure, but don't ever pick a book or Not pick a book due to reviews. You have to keep in mind that these our someone else's opinion! Many times that's not even try in a world where writers, editors, readers, cousins & brothers of Writer all have accounts & all write reviews not to mention friends & professional reviewers who could get paid maybe? Free gifts, credits?? Who knows.. Even weirdo stalkers that didn't get their book signed one day after waiting on line for a hour & knows that writer saw me waiting and left early for lunch on purpose then after a hour & 1/2 the store owner informed us he was unable to return.. That's enough to make a crazy person CRAZier and start writing bad reviews to get even.. That'll Show him!! Bad Book Bad Book.. Don't buy it.. In sorry, I'll brb.. Ok had to take my meds.. Where was I?! Oh Yes.. Speaking of writers Fan Clubs, let's face it when your talking about this Genre of books, well it attracts all sorts of personalities.. And let's just say I wouldn't be going on a BioOutbreak/Horror Story Fan Club Cruise to the Caribbean even if it was free.. I would imagine the amount of Psych Meds onboard could probably Mellow out the Populations of most smaller Countries.. For a few months easily.. And the chances of something Unexplained happening might be decent.. Hey that might make a good story?? Better give me credit for Idea or I'll write a bad review!! Hahaha enjoy the book, make up your own mind,! Write fairly, be honest as you can, or be like me write insanely crazy stuff, but write something.. Lets not let the only reviews be those which are bought & paid for & those with Axes to grind.. Takes a few minutes to show appreciation for a story the writer probably spent in some cases 8 to 10 long sleepless Hours writing..so take 8/10 minutes and tell them what you thought of it!! P.S. Spoiler Alert.. How many people don't read it because it says Spoiler Alert?? Come on people No SPOILERS!! It's a review not a narration.. Nobody wants the story ruined or explained in details that Spoil the story?? If you can't write a review without Spoilers Then maybe have one of your Cats write up something of interest as I'm sure the Intellectual differences between the two of you is staggering.. Had to be said.. Thanks for reading my Crazyness and I hope to bore you again sometime with my senseless, meaningless JibberJabber while trying to review a book.. If you read this far you deserve a cookie because I know I didn't read this far and I wrote it.. Good Day Mate.. That's Australian for Goodbye! No I'm not Australian!

The Skull Throne of Krasia stands empty. Built from the skulls of fallen generals and demon princes, it is a seat of honor and ancient, powerful magic, keeping the demon corelings at bay. From atop the throne, Ahmann Jardir was meant to conquer the known world, forging its isolated peoples into a unified army to rise up and end the demon war once and for all. But Arlen Bales, the Warded Man, stood against this course, challenging Jardir to a duel he could not in honor refuse.

Not much to do with the Warded Man or the Demon of the Desert but a full story of many of the side characters of the previous novels. I liked it because it really built up these characters and now gives you the story from the eyes of multiple eyes and perceptions. It's my belief that this will only make the next installment That much better because you'll feel invested from so many points of view. Like any true story there are many story plots, many schemes and many people all with their own agendas making up the Whole, some you'll like some you'll hate, some you'll root for and some you'll dam but ultimately whatever the story has in store for us is Enevera!

Except for my father; all he heard was Mother's sobs. Not of pain, but of joy, so he says. Other than that, the only verifiable fact about the day I was born is that an iceberg the size of Los Angeles broke free from the ice shelf a few miles off the coast."

A mysterious woven metal artifact is found at a paleontological dig in Africa. Mystified experts, confounded by the impossible timeline they get from traditional dating methods, call upon a stubborn young man with a unique talent. Matthew Turner's gift is also his curse: When he touches any object, his awareness is flooded with the thoughts and feelings of those who touched it before him. It is a talent that many covet, some fear, and almost no one understands.

The dictatorial Augurs, once thought of almost as gods, were overthrown and wiped out during the conflict, their much-feared powers mysteriously failing them. Those who had ruled under them, men and women with a lesser ability known as the Gift, avoided the Augurs' fate only by submitting themselves to the rebellion's Four Tenets.

This is the story of mankind clawing for survival, of mankind on the edge. The world outside has grown unkind, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they profess to want: They are allowed outside.

Where does Wool Omnibus Edition (Wool 1 - 5) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Owning well over 900 audiobooks, it's hard to put a number on this one. If pressed I might fairly say it is possibly in the top 100 or so.. I can't imagine that this was actually 5 separate books at one time & can imagine the decision to break it up into 5 books originally sounded like a great financial decision at the time but ultimately ended up hurting In the long run because I will be honest with you I wouldn't have made it through book one with any interest in buying book two!! It was tough for me getting into this one!

What did you like best about this story?

That it eventually pulled me into the story and made the time invested feel worth it.

What about Minnie Goode’s performance did you like?

Nothing really stood out to me from the reader neither good nor bad.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Probably "Nothing like the book" because I'd imagine Hollywood would Chop this book to pieces and probably ruin it.

    Any additional comments?

I hope the audiobook industry takes note of this situation and stops taking Novels, breaking them up into 4-5 separate books charging 4-5 separate fees, the story Suffers!! It's become obvious when it's being done and most people will wait until "The Box set" is released!

Most of those who fought against the heartless machines have aged - but not the ingenious artificial construct known as Marvin. His insatiable curiosity is as strong as ever, and he’s brought home fresh perils to humanity’s doorstep.
