Don't Get Bitten!
The story of the girl who beat the disease
I'm not really sure but the narrator was perfectly good.
Just such a neat history of the disease.
It was such a straightforward presentation of all the information you need to refute the economic fallacies being peddled to support disastrous policy decisions, even today.
Not that kind of book
Not that kind of book but the explanation of the Broken Window fallacy is great.
Most recently it has been to rebut the stupid arguments being made about drastically increasing the minimum wage.
Should be required reading in high schools.
I know there are a lot of people who will say that the people who love this book are some sort of cult but in my experience it seems as though those people are the folks who very obviously fall into the category of people unflatteringly caricatured by a character in this book. I loved this book because it unabashedly pointed a finger in the chest of those people and called them out on their hypocrisy, and false sense of self righteousness.
The meticulous development on the characters, regardless of how "unrealistic" they might be. You know who these people are, even if they're exaggerations of what you might expect to every meet in person.
Solid narrator... a little slow but you can listen sped up to fix that.
Dagney ... I know I'm supposed to say John Galt but I'll pick the heroine instead of the hero.
Everyone should read this book at some point in their life. I read it about once a year.
A masterpiece. If you ever wondered how the other side could be so consistently wrong, read this book and understand.
If you don't read her columns perhaps this will be new to you.

I don't know
Maybe but this story really just seemed to drag and there didn't seem to be a connection between the various stories
it was overly dramatic and i had to speed up the playback setting
The time period and the conflict in Bosnia is still a very interesting topic to me
