What made the experience of listening to How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free the most enjoyable?

The content was thorough and encouraging.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator seemed to do his best to use inflection, pauses and energy to give a good presentation. Unfortunately I just didn't care for his voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, each chapter built on the previous chapters.

    Any additional comments?

I bought this audio book to help with a business I am starting for seniors. But it convinced me to retire sooner rather than later and to start planning now, not after the big 65.

Tradition says there are three ways to grow a company's revenue: fire up the sales team with empty promises, cut costs and downsize, or cook the books. But what if there's a better way, a way that nine amazingly profitable and well-run companies are already embracing.

    "Good insights"
    Overall

This is an interesting book with some useful insights. The data and thoroughness of the approach could have been more convincing but the concepts presented can be applied to most businesses. It is a down to earth appoach to business and does not use any complex formulas or concepts. It would be virtually impossible to apply all the principles effectively at the same time but it is useful nevertheless.

The compelling, beautiful narrative of Code Name God is one man's rags-to-riches story and, more profoundly, the vision of a world-class physicist seeking to integrate the findings of science, religion, and spiritual quest.

This is a stunning book from many pespectives. It gives a wonderful laymans insight into how the universe was formed. It gives a story about how someone with humble beginnings can accomplish so much. And it gives a perspective on how the existance of God can be affirmed by scientific understanding. A nice listen.

This is a useful program for anyone wanting to learn how to get along better with others or if you want to increase your influence with others. Make sure you draw the diagram described in the audio to get the full impact of the method. A bit too much focus on applying the technique with sales but otherwise a well balanced approach to this method.

I don't know what audible tape the previous reviewer listened to (1 star by "subterfuge") but it wasn't this one. No Christian slant here, except to refer to how some religious upbringing can negatively affect our inner child.

The author swings between recordings infront of a live audience to personal meditations. A wonderful speaker and very convincing.

A useful tape for anyone, not just those with extreme childhood experiences.
