Adored for her sweeping Rocky Mountain Legacy series, Kristen Heitzmann inspires countless fans with her tales of Christian faith and romance. The search for a family secret drives Lance Michelli to the old villa once owned by his grandparents. But its present owner, Rese Barrett, is independent enough, and beautiful enough, to derail his efforts, distract his heart and stir his faith.

    Overall

Wow! I am never hard on books but this is the exception! Others said this book was bad and I thought I would try. I even went so far to get the next one to see if there was something I was missing.
Forget my money/credits! I just want my life back that I put into this!
Any book that you have to read the last 2 minutes 5 times to make sure you didn't miss something is just wrong!

    Overall

I really enjoyed this series. It had twist and turns I didn't see coming but that is what makes a good story.
Suzanne Collins did a great job with this series. My 14 year old son also loved the series. I think everyone that I know that has read the books say that they do not think they would like them but they are very addicting.
I enjoyed this narator but surprisingly I listened to Suzanne Collins read part of the first chapter and maybe she would have done better... Anyway, Thanks for another great listen!

Never had there been as close a bonding as the one that existed between the daring and adventurous young Lord Jaxom and his extraordinary white dragon, Ruth. Pure white and incredibly agile, Ruth was a dragon of many talents, though almost everyone on Pern thought he was a runt that would never amount to anything. But Jaxom knew better.

"My favorite of the Pern Stories"
    Overall

I have read all of the Pern books & Out of all of them Jaxsom and Ruth are the most memorable of them all! Every boy wants a dragon. And this is a story where one boy gets his dream and proves to the world he and his dragon are just as good as the rest.

When Pippa Dunn, adopted as an infant and raised terribly British, discovers that her birth parents are from the American South, she finds that "culture clash" has layers of meaning she'd never imagined. Meet The English American, a fabulously funny, deeply poignant debut novel that sprang from Alison Larkin's autobiographical one-woman show of the same name.

Are you serious! This book gets good reviews! I made it through half of the book and could not endure anymore! This girl is beyond stupid and excentric! If I meet my Bio parents and they were the ones this girl had I would run home, Pray that nurture is stronger than nature and get a VERY good shrink! Instead she moves to live next to them and breaks into song every chance she gets! Do the world a favor! Buy this book for every little girl who thinks she is adopted! It will cure her of the fantasy and be thankful for what she has!

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Borring, Predictable, and enough cheezy moment it would help if you had crackers and wine to help it go down.
Serious they are going to make a movie out of this! I pass! the book was bad enough.

When we first meet 14-year-old Susie Salmon, she is already in heaven. In the sweet, untroubled voice of a precocious teenage girl, Susie relates the awful events of her death and her own adjustment to the strange new place where she finds herself. With love, longing, and a growing understanding, Susie watches her family as they cope with their grief. This story of seemingly unbearable tragedy is transformed into a suspenseful and touching narrative about family, memory, love, heaven, and living.

Are you serious! They killed a tree for this garbage!
With all the talk and producing a movie from this book I thought I would give it a try. Why in the world anyone spend more money on this that was already wasted! This is a book I will delete from my computer and NEVER waste another minute with. Just in case you are wondering the high points of the book were the previews for the movie! Watch the trailers online and you see the best it has to offer!

This book was slightly better than the first one, but only just!
Honestly I think watching a 1980's re-run of a televangelist would have been more entertaining. The only thing missing was someone jumping up and claiming they were saved... Oh wait I think that was in this also!
After reading this series I have to wonder if the author is related to Tammy Faye Bakker.

Although a year has passed, not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of Inkheart, the book whose characters became real. But for Dustfinger, the fire-eater brought into being from words, the need to return to the tale has become desperate. When he finds a crooked storyteller with the ability to read him back, Dustfinger leaves behind his young apprentice Farid and plunges into the medieval world of his past.

    Vanessa says: "Inkspell indeed"
    "Silver Tongue Reads This One!!!"
    Overall

Exceptionaly good book. My son started reading it before me and he kept saying that Brendan Fraser was too good of a reader. I laughed and didn't pay much attention. Now that I have listened to Brendan I am shocked at how wonderful he was. The voices were wonderful. "You felt the book comming to life, as if this is what it had been waiting for." Listening to this book I am almost shocked the characters were not next to me. I am disapointed that he did not read all three of the books. I will gladly purchase the book Dragon Rider that he reads also.
As for the book itself, If you didn't like the first one, give this a try. If you did like the first one... DO Not Pass this one!
Again it is hard to read Ink Death without Brendan!

Jane Hayes is a seemingly normal young New Yorker, but she has a secret. Her obsession with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, is ruining her love life: no real man can compare. But when a wealthy relative bequeaths her a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-crazed women, Jane's fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become realer than she ever could have imagined.

    ElChangoPelon says: "Fun read"
"Never hide your Pride in a plant!"
    Overall

Book is about a modern girl living in the past or more specificaly with Colin Firth in the A&E version of Pride. (who can blame her)
The first time I listened to this book, the first part was a bit to extreeme (I don't hide my version in a plant after all!) but as you go get to the arival at Austenland the book makes you laugh. I have listened to the book a few times now and I laugh even at the beginning. If you enjoy Jane Austen you will enjoy this book, especialy if you have ever dreamed of finding your own Mr. Darcy.
