I'm a fan of the Conversations with God (CWG) series and have listened probably to all there is there. When listening to this (Power of Awareness) title, I realized that it has good overlap with the heart of CWG's content. CWG is still very much worth wading through, but this Power of Awareness title is a quick on-ramp to this compelling sphere of content. I strongly recommend this title and CWG.
No. He's good.
No, I just thought it was worthwhile.
Take any concept that you value and imagine someone telling you that it doesn't matter because it doesn't exit, then repeat that process for 95 minutes, and you have the content of this title. What I don't understand is how there are so many favorable reviews for this title, unless...
The monotone voice really wore me down. I was hoping for a lot more detail, but that was dashed once I realized the book was written by an actual CIA employee, so it was heavily stripped of essentials, likely due to security. I expected much more.
I strongly recommend this book. There were so many topics which I hadn't ever considered, such as the wave of lawsuits that could happen and which parties could be impacted. Law enforcement... wow... I plan to listen to it again as it was that good. For me, that's rare.
It was a quick story and was interesting to listen to. I wish it could only have been longer.
Recommended listening. Whenever Deepak seems to get into the groove of something, it's like he stops before making his salient point, thus giving the suggestion that more will come in a future title.
This is a journey that you will not soon forget. Very much worth the effort. The narration was first-class.
In this title, whenever I grew weary of listening to the passages about the Mothman, there would be a pivot into the UFO topic and their potential origins. What I valued the most about this title was how the author worked strenuously to keep his feet on the ground scientifically when narrating such outlying subjects. This guy gives a view of UFOs that is definitely distinct and insightful. He could be right.
I was hoping for more distinct ideas and details to back them. While the performance was very good, the title left me lacking.
It's painful to think that I spent money for this. It was simply "so bad." It's shallow and is an obvious composite of other authors' works.
This title goes into plenty more detail than I expected. It was very much worthwhile. Excellent performance.
