Would you consider the audio edition of Dragonsinger to be better than the print version?

Its easier to follow then the book unless you have time to sit down and read it streigh rough in one reading

What did you like best about this story?

Menolly's grwoth and developement as a harper in just a seven day!

Which character – as performed by Sally Darling – was your favorite?

Menolly as I enjoyed her growth and blumming in the Harper Hall.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Menolly's reaction to Breckie's cry to Fonor and Cant after their ride to the Red Star and the Panic Menolly felt really came through. Briella's calling Menolly a thief and the reaction of All the fireligards to Menolly's anger and her fear por Piemer was very tense, and I agree with the Tanner that Menolly had a great punch!

    Any additional comments?

The world Anne McCaffery has built on Pern is so real and all her books make the read so much more fun and listening to it makes it even more so.

Yes, the book is a good read for anyone but especially for a young reader.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Have Space Suit, Will Travel?

The rescue of kip, peewee and mother thing from Pluto.

Which character – as performed by Will McAuliffe and the Full Cast Family – was your favorite?

Peewee with her snotty ways that she isn't always able to hold in check.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the voice of Piemur, an apprentice at Harper Hall, changes, he has to leave the companionship of Master Shonagar behind. But his disappointment is soon replaced by a new challenge. He is to enter the service of the Master Harper himself as a rider of dragons. Soon, he embarks on a dangerous mission to the Southern Hold. The future of Pern hangs on his success.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Very much so as Anne has such a good grasp of Pern and the Harperhall craft that it is a great read and introduces other characters from other books as to make you want to read them also.

What other book might you compare Dragondrums to and why?

I would compare it to all of her other Pern books, with her son and other writers helping near the end, and I would liken her writing of the world of Pern to JRR Tolken's writing and development of Middle Earth.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Piemers heading for the hills away from the numb weed harvesters as the discription of the smell made it come to life, I could actually feel Piemers distaste for the smell.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Growth is a hard thing! Watch as Piemer goes from a great treble with lots of friends and full of pranks, to a loyal but lonely young man, who by devious means finally fulfills his desire for a Firelizard of his own!

    Any additional comments?

The end of Marion was a just one that was expedited by Piemer as an incidental result of his getting his Queen Firelizard.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

have the whole book read so all the colour of the writes story comes through, by abridging it you take away from the whole.

What other book might you compare Crystal Singer to and why?

Compared to any other Ann McCaffery book it is very good in its full form but being abridged cause it to fall well short of her intent.

What does Adrienne Barbeau bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The colour of a readers voice and inflection adds to the experience of the book even in the abridged version but would make it even better if she read the whole book so as to bring out all the flavors of the writers intent.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

if it stayed true to the book, Yes.

    Any additional comments?

If you can find the unabridged version please bring it out.
