    Near the top

What was one of the most memorable moments of Elizabeth the Queen?

    Her sense of laughter

Which character – as performed by Rosalyn Landor – was your favorite?

    Queen Elizabeth

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Couldn't wait to get back to hearing more about the Queen

    Any additional comments?

I never imagined that I would enjoy this book as much as I did. The Queen was young when she became the Queen. Her love for Phillip began early in her life. She has alot of responsibilites. She always tries to be optimistic and not critical. I highly recommend this book.

In this historic memoir, the late Ted Kennedy takes us inside his family, re-creating life with his parents and brothers and explaining their profound impact on him. For the first time, he describes his heartbreak and years of struggle in the wake of their deaths. Through it all, he describes his work in the Senate on the major issues of our time - civil rights, Vietnam, Watergate, the quest for peace in Northern Ireland - and the cause of his life: improved health care for all Americans

Although his father had been reluctant to become a field operative, Jack Ryan Jr. wants nothing more. Privately training with a seasoned Special Forces drill instructor, he’s honing his skills to transition his work within The Campus from intelligence analysis to hunting down and eliminating terrorists wherever he can—even as Jack Ryan Sr. campaigns for re-election as President of the United States. But what neither father nor son knows is that the political and the personal have just become equally dangerous.

Would you try another book from Tom Clancy and Mark Greaney and/or Lou Diamond Phillips?

I was really looking forward to hearing this book. The storyline seemed to change so often that it wasn't consistant and hard to keep track of what was going on. The men reading the story I thought did a good job. They were easy to understand and the only complaint would be I personally do not like to hear the F*** word as much as was written in the book. I honestly could not tell you what this story was about. I was left with wanting much more than I got.

Would you ever listen to anything by Tom Clancy and Mark Greaney again?

Yes, I may try another book of Tom Clancy and see if it is a different experience.

Have you listened to any of Lou Diamond Phillips’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first time hearing Lou Diamond Phillips but I thought he did an excellent job.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Locked On?

Didn't understand any of the book, so couldn't play editor.

    Any additional comments?

    Disappointed.

Few U.S. presidents have captured the imagination of the American people as has Harry S. Truman. In this new biography, Robert H. Ferrell, widely regarded as an authority on the 33rd president, challenges the popular characterization of Truman as a man who rarely sought the offices he received, revealing instead a man who - with modesty, commitment to service, and basic honesty - moved with method and system toward the presidency.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I have always thought Truman was quite an interesting person. He was down to earth, and told things the way they were. I kept hoping this would be like this, but it just drug on more and more, and just not worth the time to keep listening to it. I am very disappointed because I was thrilled to see it in the list and was so looking forward to listening to it.

Would you ever listen to anything by Robert H. Ferrell again?

Doubtful. Truman was a great person, and president. And this was just not like him at all.

How could the performance have been better?

Tell the story of Truman with the excitement to match the type of man he was.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Very disappointed. Did not expect this at all.

    Any additional comments?

Don't waste your time on this LONG drawn out story.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis never wrote a memoir, but she told her life story and revealed herself in intimate ways through the nearly 100 books she brought into print during the last two decades of her life as an editor at Viking and Doubleday. Based on archives and interviews with Jackie's authors, colleagues, and friends, Reading Jackie mines this significant period of her life to reveal both the serious and the mischievous woman underneath the glamorous public image.

I could lie down on the bed, and just relax and listen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Reading Jackie?

I learned alot about her editorial work, which I didn't know much about

What about Susan Denaker’s performance did you like?

She spoke loud enough to hear.

    Any additional comments?

I wish all the audible books would be loud enough to hear them. The Lebavox recordings are hard to hear.
