In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

I really found this book to be super enjoyable. I was tired of picking books that would not last me a whole month so i thought i would give Game of Thrones a shot since my wife loves the show ( I wont watch now until i finish the book series). I love the story lines and how they all merge in and out of one anothers lives. And GRRM does a great job of throwing in twists to the story so you are always really engaged with whats happening! Roy Dotrice is amazing as everyone said, super glad i gave this one a shot.

An irreverent, hilarious insider's look at big-time NCAA basketball, through the eyes of the nation's most famous benchwarmer and author of the popular blog ClubTrillion.com (3.6m visits!). Mark Titus holds the Ohio State record for career wins, and made it to the 2007 national championship game. You would think Titus would be all over the highlight reels. You'd be wrong.

This is one of the better sports centered books that I have read this past year, hilarious and smart. This reads like a cleaned up (only slightly) version of I hope they serve beer in hell, but the stories are sports themed and will have you laughing out loud. If your a college basketball fan at all this is the book for you, with some great insights into the OU locker room.

Viewed by many as the greatest science fiction writer on any planet, Philip K. Dick has written some of the most intriguing, original, and thought-provoking fiction of our time. This collection includes "The Minority Report," "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale," "Paycheck," "Second Variety," and "The Eyes Have It."

This collection of short stories is simply amazing. I like to buy books without reading the reviews first and this time it payed off huge! Minority Report is great by itself but then to discover the short story version of Total Recall and Paycheck was such a amazing surprise. I have a feeling I will be checking out more work my Phillip K. Dick

Meet Dexter Morgan, a polite wolf in sheep’s clothing. He’s handsome and charming, but something in his past has made him abide by a different set of rules. He’s a serial killer whose one golden rule makes him immensely likeable: he only kills bad people. And his job as a blood splatter expert for the Miami police department puts him in the perfect position to identify his victims. But when a series of brutal murders bearing a striking similarity to his own style start turning up, Dexter is caught between being flattered and being frightened - of himself or some other fiend.

I really loved this book from start to finish. The plot for this story closely follows the first season in events but what the show can not offer you is dexters constant stream of thoughts. This is a great series that I looking forward to getting into!
