Worst narration, hands down. I don't understand how it got so many good reviews. The only reason I kept listening was because I knew it had to get better, buy it never did.
I loved the story line. It was very interesting to read about the different cultures and what was happening during the war. I had no idea there were "concentration camps" in the US.
This was a beautiful book and worth every minute!!!
I enjoyed the story and felt a connection with Big, but I felt the narration and the dialog for Mose spoiled it for me.
I've heard better narration. She seems to loose and gain accents. I was intrigued by the story line and really got connected to the characters.
What's not to love about time travel, a good love story and the assasination of JKF all rolled into one fabulous book! The narration was one of the best I've listened to.
The story was captivating, but too gorey and gruesome when describing the death scenes of the animals and the end of some of characters towards the end of the book.
Just couldn't get into it. Didn't hold my interest, only book I haven't finished.
