This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

I very much enjoyed listening to this book. I always enjoy stories with magic and mystery. This one does a great job of mixing the two in just the right amounts. The magic adds to the story without overpowering it and the mystery keeps you guessing and wanting more. Overall it's a good listen. I'm excited to listen to the next book and I'm sure I'll keep en eye out for the 3rd book to be released.

In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

I had heard so many good things about this book I was really excited to listen to it. I was drawn in at the beginning, but as the book went on it didn't sit well with me. Martin seems to enjoy exploring the dark depraved side of humanity. On the upside, the narration was great as all the characters were very distinct and well performed. This will be my one and only listen to A Song of Ice and Fire.

Prince Liam. Prince Frederic. Prince Duncan. Prince Gustav. You've never heard of them, have you? These are the princes who saved Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel, respectively, and yet, thanks to those lousy bards who wrote the tales, you likely know them only as Prince Charming. But all of this is about to change.

This was a fun listen. I was a little tired of some of the heavier books I was listening to and just wanted something that was fun and funny. This book fit that bill perfectly. I would love this to turn into a series. More PLEASE!

Sandra Foster studies fads and their meanings for the HiTek corporation. Bennett O'Reilly works with monkey group behavior and chaos theory for the same company. When the two are thrust together due to a misdelivered package and a run of seemingly bad luck, they find a joint project in a flock of sheep. But a series of setbacks and disappointments arise before they are able to find answers to their questions - with the unintended help of the errant, forgetful, and careless office assistant Flip.

This book managed to annoy me practically every time I listened to it. The only reason I finished the book is because I hate not hearing the ending to a story more than I hated this story. I may not be sophisticated enough to enjoy this book. I took a chance on this one and I'm just thankful it was only 6 hours long.
