Dune is a masterpiece unto itself! The narration was horrible as the voices of the characters kept changing, and you had to constantly figure out who was speaking. Whoever thought changing the character voices was a good idea was very wrong.
The details were gripping without being mundane or superfluous. This gave the book a great context.
Grover Gardner's inflection really made the book listenable.
