  • Have a Little Faith

    • UNABRIDGED (4 hrs and 48 mins)
    • By Mitch Albom
    • Narrated By Mitch Albom

What if our beliefs were not what divided us, but what pulled us together? In Have a Little Faith, Mitch Albom offers a beautifully written story of a remarkable eight-year journey between two worlds - two men, two faiths, two communities - that will inspire readers everywhere.

    Dana says: "Fantastic Read!"
    "Beautifully written"

I listened to this book the week leading up to Christmas and I have to say, I could not have picked a better time. It really made me think... it reminded me, as I sat in bumper-to-bumper traffic due to holiday shopping, just what the holidays are REALLY about. As good as Tuesdays with Morrie was, the time you'll spend here with "The Reb" will touch your heart and never let go.
I've read everything Mitch Albom has ever written and this is, by far, my favorite!

Amazon Customer says: "Play the Book and Let the Book Play You"
"This was one of my FAVORITE'S by King"

This is HIGHLY recommended! I haven't read Stephen King in quite a while and boy am I happy I came back for this one.
the book is fantastic and John Slattery is PERFECT! It's the first time that I've listened to anything that he's read, but it certainly won't be the last!!!
This book is long (so what else is new, it's Stephen King!) but it's great. Really, really great!

  • Anyone But You

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 55 mins)
    • By Jennifer Crusie
    • Narrated By Susan Ericksen
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Ignoring her insistent best friend, some interfering do-gooders, and the ubiquitous dog Fred - not to mention her suddenly raging hormones - 40-year-old Nina thinks anyone but Alex would be a better bet for a relationship. But the more silver-haired stiffs she dates, the more she suspects it's the young dog-loving doctor she wants to sit and stay!

Bonnie says: "Jennifer Crusie knows how to have fun"
    "Susan Ericksen Rules"

Listen to anything that she reads! She's amazing!
The book was good... funny at parts, REALLY funny at other parts!
I enjoyed it! A nice "fluff" book for when I just don't feel like remembering names or dates or trying to figure out who the killer might be!

  • Visions of Sugar Plums: A Stephanie Plum Holiday Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (3 hrs and 12 mins)
    • By Janet Evanovich
    • Narrated By Lorelei King
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Spicier than gingerbread and nuttier than a fruitcake, the world of Plum has never been merrier! This Plum-crazy Christmas tale "is clearly a Christmas present from Evanovich to the legions of fans of Stephanie Plum," raves Booklist.

Barbara Z. says: "Tongue-in-Cheek Christmas Humor"
    "Stephanie Plum ROCKS!"

I LOVE the Stephanie Plum series - although, I must admit, nobody reads them better than CJ Critt!! Lorelei King has a pleasant enough voice, but I first listened to the "Full" series and so to me she will always be the voice of Jamie Swift.
That said... this book was very cute - a perfect quickie for the holiday season. The regular characters are all there and, perfectly befitting Janet Evanovich, some new and equally amusing characters have been thrown into the mix.
They're all fun and are certain to make you laugh.
Janet Evanovich is one of my favorites. I listen to her books whenever I just want to smile. Call me crazy, but Stephanie Plum has become my favorite carpool buddy! ha ha
