Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is the story of Evie, an illegitimate young woman who thinks her only opportunity for marriage is by being a mail order bride. So she pursues this avenue and heads West. Caroline Fyffe writes clean, sweet Western romances and this one is no exception. At times I found Evie to be extremely naive and annoying. Bur perhaps young women of this time period were like this. The narrator's voice was pleasant, but some of her accents needed work. Overall I enjoyed this audiobook and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet, Western romances. If you are looking for a lot of sex or violence this is not for you.

What made the experience of listening to The Rose Garden the most enjoyable?

I read this on my Kindle first and loved it so much that I bought it for Audible. It is a creative time travel romance with a lot of twists and turns. The twist at the end surprised me and enriched the story.

    Any additional comments?

Nicola Barber does a superb job in reading the story and her male voices are excellent. If you enjoy time travel stories you must listen to this one.
