I thought this was a very good view and perspective in to the man, the politics and the Catholic church. Eye opening and a great read.
The whole story was just fabulous. I think every person alive should have this experience in their life, or for sure read this book. I loved every second of this book. What great life lessons. Fun, fun, fun book!
Everything. I cried at the end once this man found his gratitude. I'm not a cryer.
The yoga class
The Buddah, but I loved the main character just as much.
Such a gem. I'm grateful to have found it.
I have to respect the endless research she put in to this book, but the story was a bit all over the place. I still really loved the listen. Through the whole book though, I was really rooting for this poor woman to get laid just once. Sorry if I offend, but I thought it through most of the book. Even when she was 90 I was still cheering her on....nope, not once.
The lead character, she was fascinating.
She did a great job, but this is one of those books where the accents were wrong. I know how we Americans love the ol English accent, but it needs to fit the story. She was an American, but most of the book was in an English accent.
This is one of the greatest classics and with good reason. I'm a picky reader, but I didn't want this to end. If you have never read or listened to this, stop everything and begin.
She brings the story to life. Some narrators can totally kill an audio book, Sissy Spacek draws you in to the story.
Oh with out a doubt.
I could have never sat still long enough to read this, butI love a story with twists...and dogs. I loved it!
Very good voice, maybe too old for this role, but a great job.
I never read the book, but I loved this story.
The secret life of bees, The help.
My all time favorite. I love all of his work, but this is the masterpiece! Jump is head first. Great great book!
I love that he narrated his own book and he did such a wonderful job. When an author is the one telling the story they are able to best convey the feeling of their words. It adds a great dimension to this story.
The narrator was not at all believable as this girl. It really hurt my listening experience. Still a great story if you can get past that.
This author is my favorite and I read all of his books. This is my second favorite after the Kite Runner...which is the best book of all time...for me. If you never travel to the middle east, this is a great taste of the life. A must read.
This is just plain ol entertainment! Such a good story. You can't go wrong with this book.
This is such an amazing book. I saw the movie years ago and it is very true to the book. You can never go wrong with this book. It's sad, funny and very deep. Get a hold on your emotions and a box of tissues. Love love love this book.
