Overwhelmed by the ships and clones at Thrawn's command, the Republic has one last hope: sending a small force, led by Luke Skywalker, into the very stronghold that houses Thrawn's terrible cloning machines. There a final danger awaits, as the Dark Jedi C'baoth directs the battle against the Rebels and builds his strength to finish what he had already started: the destruction of Luke Skywalker.

Would you listen to Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3: The Last Command again? Why?

Absolutely. I would listen to the whole series again. I've always been a big star wars fan but this was the series that got me interested in reading the novels. This series is very well written and am glad to be able to listen to an unabridged version of the series. Marc Thompson did an awesome job narrating this series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Absolutely

    Any additional comments?

I would really love to listen to more unabridged star wars books such as the New Jedi Order Series and X-wing series. My job has me travelling alot so abridged audiobooks are a waste of money to me. All the abridged star wars books should be redone into unabridged audiobooks with Marc Thompson as narrator.

Once the Sith order teemed with followers. But their rivalries divided them in endless battles for supremacy - until one dark lord at last united the Sith in the quest to enslave the galaxy and exterminate the Jedi. Yet it would fall to another, far more powerful than the entire Brotherhood of Darkness, to ultimately realize the full potential of the Sith, and wield the awesome power of the dark side as never before.

I've read this series a couple times and would recommend it to any star wars fan. It is a well written series and is great to hear the story by the perspective of the sith. I was, however, disappointed that Marc Thompson didn't narrate. Too many times while listening it became difficult to figure out which character was talking. This wouldn't have been a problem with Marc Thompson as narrator. His skill and effort at narrations would have made this series performance much better. I believe that all star wars audiobooks should be narrated by Marc Thompson.

After a violent civil war and the devastation wrought by the now-fallen Darth Caedus, the Galactic Alliance is in crisis and in need. From all corners, politicians, power brokers, and military leaders converge on Coruscant for a crucial summit to restore order, negotiate differences, and determine the future of their unified worlds. But even more critical, and far more uncertain, is the future of the Jedi.

Glad to finally see unabridged books from star wars. Would love to see them go back and redo all the abridged books and make unabridged versions. This is a good start to the series and another great job by Marc Thompson.

I am a big fan of the assassin's creed video games so I decided to get these books to listen to on the road and was not disappointed. The whole series is great. I wasn't too impressed with the narrator, however. There were times in the book where it was hard to tell which character is talking which was irritating at times. But, otherwise, it is a series I would recommend to anybody.

I think this was another great book in the Michael Bennett series, however I am extremely disappointed about having to wait for the next book to come out for a conclusion. The last I saw, the next book in the series is titled "Gone" and is supposed to be released in september. I am looking forward to it but hope James Patterson will not end another book with it needing a continuation.

I think this was a good story. It was interesting hearing the story from the perspective of the sith. I liked the details that the went in to describing the rise and fall of Darth Plagueis. And also liked the details in the rise of Darth Sidious. It'll make you watch the movies in a new way because of the detail this book went into to describing how Plagueis and Sidious planned everything. I don't want to go into too many details because I don't want to spoil the book for those that haven't listened to it. It is a book I would recommend to people to listen to if you are a star wars fan.
