This landmark production, perhaps the most ambitious radio project ever attempted, began when Star Wars creator George Lucas donated the story rights to an NPR affiliate. Writer Brian Daley adapted the film's highly visual script to the special demands and unique possibilities of radio, creating a more richly textured tale with greater emphasis on character development.

Where does Star Wars (Dramatized) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was the first dramatized story I bought from audible. I cant bring myself to spend more than $10 on a five hour audio play, so I wont buy the next one in the series. All in all, it was perfect to buy when it was on sell. I enjoyed it on my road trip.

After losing his leg to a land mine in Afghanistan, Cormoran Strike is barely scraping by as a private investigator. Then John Bristow walks through his door with an amazing story: his sister, the legendary supermodel Lula Landry, famously fell to her death a few months earlier. The police ruled it a suicide, but John refuses to believe that. The case plunges Strike into the world of multimillionaire beauties, rock-star boyfriends, and desperate designers, and it introduces him to every variety of pleasure, enticement, seduction, and delusion known to man.

I was on the fence about this one. Private detective , it's been done a million times. This story has all the elements you expect in a classic who-done-it, but the fact that the story is written by jk Rowling makes it worth my one credit. I'll admit the ending had a few surprises I didn't see coming and all in all, it was a good journey. Go ahead, but it and enjoy the story.

Elena Rudina lives in the impoverished Russian countryside. Her father has been dead for years. Her brothers have been conscripted into the Tsar's army and taken as servants in the house of the local wealthy landowner. Her mother is dying, slowly, in their tiny cabin. And there is no food. But then a train arrives in the village, a train carrying untold wealth, a cornucopia of food, and a noble family destined to visit the Tsar in St. Petersburg - a family that includes Ekaterina, a girl of Elena's age.

I will be the first to admit that Gregory Maguire can be a hit and miss sometimes. This novel though maybe his best work to date. The narrator really bring the witch to life.

Alyssa Gardner has been down the rabbit hole. She was crowned Queen of the Red Court and faced the bandersnatch. She saved the life of Jeb, the boy she loves, and escaped the machinations of the disturbingly appealing Morpheus. Now all she has to do is graduate high school. That would be easier without her mother, freshly released from an asylum, acting overly protective and suspicious.

I've got to say, this series is a real keeper. I love how she entwines the original novel into the story instead of making up new material. The only put out is the narrator, but I've discovered it is enjoyable if you speed up the performance to 1.25.

Twenty years ago, a boy named Jack Sawyer traveled to a parallel universe called the Territories to save his mother and her “Twinner” from an agonizing death that would have brought cataclysm to the other world. Now Jack is a retired Los Angeles homicide detective living in the nearly nonexistent hamlet of Tamarack, Wisconsin. He has no recollection of his adventures in the Territories....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

For some reason I enjoy King's work, but never got the hebie jeebies from them. I guess it took a cannibal who preys on young children to really spook me out. It has everything you would want from the king's franchise and so much more.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how he gave you the option of closing the book almost at the end and taking a picture perfect ending or really socking it to you.

Have you listened to any of Frank Muller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The dark tower was taken to a whole different level with muller . He just knows when to stretch out words and make certain things extra creepy when they need to be. This book is classic muller, no questions about it.

This stunning debut captures the grotesque madness of Underland, as well as a girl’s pangs of first love and independence. Alyssa Gardner hears the whispers of bugs and flowers - precisely the affliction that landed her mother in a mental hospital years before. This family curse stretches back to her ancestor Alice Liddell, the real-life inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alyssa might be crazy, but she manages to keep it together. For now.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I've already called up the ladies and told them to jump on this train before it becomes a movie.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how it 'mirrored' the original story but took on its own life.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I didn't like the forced accents. It was a huge turn off.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wouldn't say moved, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and purchased the next book the second I finished the last chapter.

If you could sum up Out of Oz in three words, what would they be?

    Hows this possible?

What other book might you compare Out of Oz to and why?

The dark tower. You wait for years for the series you grew attached to to end. Everyone has faults by the end of it, everyone is a slight anti-hero, and you are sad to bid them all a farwell.

It's a summer's evening in Amsterdam, and two couples meet at a fashionable restaurant for dinner. Between mouthfuls of food and over the polite scrapings of cutlery, the conversation remains a gentle hum of polite discourse - the banality of work, the triviality of the holidays. But behind the empty words, terrible things need to be said, and with every forced smile and every new course, the knives are being sharpened. Each couple has a 15-year-old son. The two boys are united by their accountability for a single horrific act; an act that has triggered a police investigation and shattered the comfortable, insulated worlds of their families.

Im not ashamed to say I cried while listening to this novel. It takes a while to get into this novel, but the minute it starts to unfold on you, it hits you like brick

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved how each one of the characters have their own memorable moment in this book, down to the waiter.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Spolier Alert! My favorite scene had to be the father talking to the store owner about the broken window. It just reminded me that little things really imapct people in ways you cant forsee.
