Economies have fallen, freedom has been suppressed, and peace is a distant memory. The world is falling apart. Joshua Jordan's protege Ethan March, along with Jimmy Louder and Rivka Reuban have been left behind in a world that is rapidly coming under the complete influence of the Antichrist. Technology is growing by leaps and bounds, with BID-Tag implants, robotic police units, and drone-bots flying overhead...all designed to control and dominate those who resist the Antichrist's reign of evil.

What disappointed you about Mark of Evil?

The storyline dragged on with little point

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not this one, I has listened to the entire series and this just does not even compare to the others in the series, I wondered if they authors truly wrote it or if someone else ghost wrote it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Daniel Butler’s performances?

No, his voice gets on your nerves.

What character would you cut from Mark of Evil?

All of them the story sucked

    Any additional comments?

I read the reviews and most were bad but I thought really how bad could it be the others were great. I think Joshua Jordan (the character that was raptured in the last book) was what carried the entire story...should have ended there.

The year is 2016, and America is no more. The United States, Canada, and Mexico now comprise a single, unified front to the world: the North American Union. Implanted ID chips are soon to become mandatory for every citizen of the NAU, and Trez Sleighton, a disgruntled ex-Army officer, takes to the mountains of Colorado to come to terms with the changing world-and his own hand in the whole mess. Then sounds the trumpet. Around the planet, people simply disappear.

What did you like best about Pray? What did you like least?

The cussing I could live without. I get enough of that in the real world.

What could John Prescott have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

omit the cussing. Or file his book in the non-faith dept

Do you think Pray needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

no, the 1st wasn't even good

"Kien Lantec, you will bear witness to my followers in ToronSea." The last thing Kien Lantec expects on his first day of military leave is to receive marching orders from his Creator, the Infinite. Orders that don’t involve destroyer-racing or courting the love of his life, Ela. Adding to Kien’s frustration, his Infinite-ordained duties have little to do with his skills as a military judge-in-training. His mission? To warn the people of ToronSea against turning their backs on the Infinite to worship a new goddess.

"Close your eyes, Ela of Parne. Close your eyes and you will see." Ela Roeh of Parne doesn't understand why her beloved Creator, the Infinite, wants her to become His prophet. She’s undignified, bad tempered, and only 17 - not to mention that no prophet of Parne has ever been a girl. Worst of all, as the elders often warn, if she agrees to become the Infinite's prophet, Ela knows she will die young. "Istgard has turned their back on Me. See the evil they do."

Would you consider the audio edition of Prophet to be better than the print version?

Yes, but then again I am more audiobook than written book. You can multitask with audio.

What other book might you compare Prophet to and why?

The bible. So far this series it's like taking Isaiah, Jonah, Jeremiah, Job, and King David and slamming them all together.

Which character – as performed by Brooke Heldman – was your favorite?

    Kennen

If you could take any character from Prophet out to dinner, who would it be and why?

God. Who wouldnt want to dine with their creator?

Immortal vigilantes from the time of Moses have planned the unthinkable. But how can you stop what you can’t see? The battle didn’t start this year...or even this millennium. It began when Moses was on Mt. Sinai. Tired of waiting on the One True God, the twelve tribes of Israel began worshipping a golden calf through pagan revelry. Many received immediate death for their idolatry, but 40 were handed a far worse punishment - endless life on earth with no chance to see the face of God.

What did you love best about The 13th Tribe?

This book it like tossing Highlander, the Ten Commandments, and a small bit from a vampire movie into one.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, and I was surprised at the ending not what I expected to happen.

What about Daniel Butler’s performance did you like?

His voice for Jagged was a little on the rough, gruff side but maybe that was what he was aiming for.

If you could take any character from The 13th Tribe out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Owen...listen to the book and find out I don't want to spoil it for you.

    Any additional comments?

If you time time travel stories You will like this one. Though it is not a time travel story per say you will enjoy it. Can't want for the next book

What did you like best about Piercing the Darkness? What did you like least?

No just books by this author

Would you listen to another book narrated by Kevin Foley?

the narrator was not the problem
