Would you listen to Searching for Paradise in Parker, PA again? Why?

I was glad that Ms Radish did not make this all cute, and soft. It was frustrating, sad, and happy just like life. I love her books and each for a different reason. This is not like all the others, her characters are stuggling to find their way through life and questioning their furtures.

Have you listened to any of Barbara McCulloh’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first Barbara McCulloh listen

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to this while driving from Montana to Wyoming. I wanted to yell at both the wife and the husband for not being better communicators. They reminded me of many people I have met or known over the years.

From best-selling author Kris Radish comes this moving tale of family bonds and second chances. Forty three-year-old Emma Gilford has always been an obedient daughter and sister. But when a voice from the past comes calling, Emma wonders if it’s time to stop thinking of others—and start chasing her own desires.

Absolutely, all my women friends and family members. This story covers many facets of women and is filled with sadness, humor and it is just a fabulous read.

Would you listen to The Sunday List of Dreams again? Why?

Maybe, I seldom re-read or re-listen to books, but I could see myself enjoying this one a second time.

    Any additional comments?

I have enjoyed Kris Radish's books. This is not a typical genre for me. I generally read mysteries and spy novels. Ms Radish makes these irresistible.

Sister Mary Helen, still spry at seventy-something, makes a perfectly innocent mistake: she arrives at St. Colette's Retreat House a week early. Unfortunately, so has a convention of San Francisco priests. Mary Helen, accompanied by her long-suffering old friend Sister Eileen, had hoped for a few tranquil days of spiritual renewal.

I love Sister O'Marie's books they are light easy quick reads and two humorous nuns always in trouble. Delightful and a fun read.
