Bodyguard Celia Graves has definitely accepted her share of weird assignments, both human and supernatural. But her newest job takes the cake. Guarding a prince from terrorists and religious fundamentalists is hard enough, but it seems like the entire supernatural world is after this guy too. When she is betrayed by those she is employed to help, and everything goes horribly wrong, Celia wakes to find herself transformed. Neither human nor vampire, Celia has become an abomination-something that should not exist-and now both human and supernatural alike want her dead.

I love these type of stories but the narration was so bad I couldn't get through the first chapter. Very monotone almost like the automated phone menu voice.

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem.

Molly Harper is a funny writer and it's so easy to relate with her characters they are goofy and lovable, even the bad ones. Amanda Ronconi also adds to the book and I don't think they would be same if anyone else narrated them. The entire series is worth every penny, great entertainment!

Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may or may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane onto the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow -- alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.

What's there not to love about Jane, she's funny, quirky and smart! I really like Amanda's performance, I believe she is Jane.

Once presided over by a flamboyant Hollywood mogul during the Roaring ’20s, the magnificent West Coast property known as Roseland is now home to a reclusive billionaire financier and his faithful servants. And, for the moment, it’s also a port in the storm for Odd Thomas and his traveling companion, the inscrutably charming Annamaria. In the wake of Odd’s most recent clash with lethal adversaries, the opulent manor’s comforts should be welcome. But there’s far more to Roseland than meets even the extraordinary eye of Odd, who soon suspects it may be more hell than haven.

What made the experience of listening to Odd Apocalypse the most enjoyable?

The narrator, David Aaron Baker's voice belongs to Odd one.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It did not keep me as engaged as Koontz's other books but it was still good.

What about David Aaron Baker’s performance did you like?

He is Odd Thomas. The way he tells the tale of Odd is magic.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    I have no idea.
