I have followed Molly MacRae's "Haunted Yarn Shop" mysteries from the beginning. This is my first foray into "cozy mysteries" but I have become a fan. I look forward to every new installment.
Sissy Spacek gave this book the narration it deserves. She brought this classic American Novel to life. Writing reviews is not my strong suit but this audio book is highly recommended.
This really shows the President as a real person. I wish everyone in Congress would listen to this audiobook and be able to see the President in the context of his ordinary life.
Since it's nonfiction I wouldn't call anyone a "character" but it was nice to learn about Barack's siblings I had not known anything about.
Talk about performance! Barack does a really convincing Kenyan accent when quoting his relatives not to mention he works in some phrases we've never heard uttered by a president before!
"Learn the truth"
Please consider listening to this book. It's very worthwhile.
I guess I was looking for a "How to" book on how to move to Paris (in my dreams) but this is anecdotes about life in Paris without any "nuts and bolts" information but I still enjoyed it.
This is a really great informative book. It's the kind of book you wish everyone would read. Very carefully researched and a good listen.
Kevin really tries to inspire people. I appreciated his words of encouragement to the reader.
It's funny but also informative. She really tells you the story of her life leading up to being a star.
You learn how hard Kathy Griffin has worked to get where she is.
She really reads it with energy and enthusiasm. She really entertains you.
Maybe. I don't usually read this kind of Novel. Someone I know had started it and didn't care for it but when she told me the story I wanted to hear how it ended. There are holes in the story you could drive a tuck through but overall I found it an entertaining book.
I would say the last chapter was satisfying. Of course I won't say anything to give it away.
He had a good, consistant energy level. Well done.
I would say this book put me in
I love to hear a book read by the Author. I don't know why anyone would choose the print version instead. I feel like I'm getting the
I feel like he makes it sound more compelling and immediate.
I felt his chapter about Katrina was very informative and brought me a new understanding of the whole event.
He does talk about some family events but it's not his
It's fun to get a huge helping of Bill Maher all at one time.
Very funny but also makes some excellent points.
This is first Bill Maher book I've listened to. I may not go back to older books but will definitley listen to next one that comes out.
Not really a movie book.
Get the book.
