i don't know
This book is nothing to write home about. For one thing the murder plot gets repetitive & boring real fast & any avid reader, movie buff or TV guru could quickly figure out why the murders are happening & what the main plot is although nothing comes to light until the end. So to begin with so there is no challenge there. The main female character seems to have a lot of extraordinary talents but can’t seem to handle them when under real pressure. She is in constant self analysis & blame of herself & those around her to a point of becoming nauseating & repetitious. Even after nearly getting killed several times in this book she still plunders on in a cloud of resistance, confusion & inability to stop. (?) She waffles from always believing she is right, getting testy, to having a huge chip on her shoulder. The story line becomes too long & drawn out with the story based on mainly conversational which to me lacks a balanced with what could have been some interesting background narrative. And the relationship between the main female character & the FBI sounds just way too loose, unorganized & unbelievable.
The narrator was pretty good although I could still hear the female tone in the numerous male voices. So in a case where there is a lot of conversation I would prefer a male & female narrator.
She was overworked.
Two authors made this book a complete disaster. I wouldn’t even call it a book since the story line was missing throughoutl. Ridiculous unbelievable story lines running into each other ad nauseam. Too many characters adding nothing but confusion & people getting murdered to for no real reasons. Main character can’t stop self-.It is going back for sure.destructing over & over (tiring & boring ) book too long.. Narration was over the top loud & brash with a sprinkle of pure nasty. I can’t even figure out how this book ever got published. Even the little girl turned out to be a loud mouthy little brat. The villain? Oh don’t even ask! In my opinion this book could never be rewriten even with a gallon of strong glue. I kid you not. And if I could I would not have even given them a one star rating. It will be going back for sure.
I really enjoyed the memoir of Martin Short. His SNL performances gave my family many fun filled nights & it was interesting to know more about his real life. My 50 year old son goes around imitating him all the time. Thanks much Martin it was a good read
I really enjoyed this book. It certainly kept my interest throughour & was extremely hard to second guess. The narration was great too. If there was a book I really needed when sleep evaded me it was this one. Yes
This book was captivating all the way to the end. In fact it felt like 4 books in one. The subject matter was very interesting & the narrator (Dick Hill) was excellent as usual. All in all I enjoyed it very much & would recommend it to others. It was my kind of book.
Kept me fascinated from beginning to end. I really hate to see these kinds of books end. Narration great too. Highly recommend.
Bith if these writer are very good, but together they SMOKE. It has been a long time when reading a book that i yearned to look up words in the dictionary, which in this book was aplenty. Bne chilling suspense was preasant too & as always subject matter was thoroughly researched. Thanks guys
Fabulous story line. interesting, exciting. With every turn a new plot, yet all connected in the end. A definate thriller

She nailed the part as narrator from beginning to end
The Charity Ball
How Sophie was always one step ahead of everyone.
I loved the language & words never heard in todays society. The men actually had something to say.
She brought the character alive in a very neat way.
Oh yea, I laughed everytime Sophie got the upper hand which was always.
